Demajion (Buddy) Howard OF / 2B / Lancaster , SC / 2021Slight frame with proportional build and good present strength. Flashes of high level athleticism will only improve with additional development. 6.80 sixty time. 79 mph outfield velocity. 86 mph exit velocity (tee). Above avg. runner with advanced first step quickness. Stance just inside the shoulders with some bend in the knees. Relaxed hands, bat laid on the shoulder prior to the load. Short stride lands closed slightly. Barrel is raised to a position just off the shoulder and falls onto plane with a positive attack angle. Long at times but showed occasional ability to get extension through contact to a one handed finish. Fielded the ball just outside the left foot. Exchanged at the belt and a full arm action on the back side. Max effort throws from an OTT slot produced solid avg. carry. Showed great ball skills in the OF with good anticipation and enough speed to go get it.

Qualiek Crawford OF / SS / Marion, SC / 2021Compact build with a mix of speed & strength. Has started to fill out the frame since our last look in November, 2018. Wider stance with good balance in the lower half. Medium stride length pulls the head forward slightly. Loses the barrel at the top and creates a longer path to the zone. Muscles the barrel through contact. Wants to elevate to the pull side. Fielded the ball just inside the right foot with a higher exchange between the belt and chest. Uses a big pro step to maintain his momentum through the fielding process. Short arm stroke and a H3Q release. Avg. carry and moderate fade on throws.

Trace Thompson OF / RHP / Clover, SC / 2022Projectable 6-1, 155lb frame. Sloped shoulders and length throughout will allow him to continue filling into the frame as he matures. 7.26 sixty time. 73 mph outfield velocity. 82 mph exit velocity (tee). Balanced stance with the bat rested on the shoulder and a relaxed hand set. Shifts the weight down and back to initiate the load. Knee to knee stride with medium length lifts the hands and pushes them back to a position over the back foot. Slightly uphill path. Abbreviated hip turn. Quick with the top hand at times. Line drives with avg. carry during BP. Two handed finish. Corner OF profile. Solid avg. first step reads. Fields the ball outside of the left foot and funnels to a high transfer at the shoulder. Longer arm action and avg carry with good accuracy.

Carson Brown OF / Legion Collegiate , SC / 2022Youthful prospect with physical upside. Square shoulders and length in the lower half. Plays true to listed 6-2, 167lbs. 7.22 sixty time. 68 mph outfield velocity. 80 mph exit velocity (tee). More vertical stance with the weight held slightly on the back side. Soft load and quiet head. Positive attack angle. Occasional barrel release with developing power. Strong through the zone with a two handed finish off the back shoulder. Aggressive to ground balls, fielding the ball inside the right foot. Full arm action and quick transfer. Solid avg. arm strength at present will have a chance to evolve into a plus tool as he matures.

AJ Tolbert OF / 1B / Orangeburg Prep, SC / 2021Broad shoulders and physical 6-1, 200lb. Frame will support additional mass. Current corner OF/INF profile. 7.05 sixty time. 73 mph outfield velocity. 90 mph exit velocity (tee). Taller stance, hands set just off the back shoulder. Quick knee to knee load times a medium stride that lands slightly closed. Muscled the barrel onto plane with a steeper attack angle. Bat path is flat through the zone and slightly elevated at contact. Developing feel for the barrel. Some pop present to the pullside. Fringe avg defender with avg range. Longer exchange and arm action with an OTT slot. Athletic enough to play 1B, solid footwork around the bag and developing glove skills.

Zackery Morillo OF / LHP / May River, SC / 2021Physically advanced 6-3. 183lb frame. Broad shoulders and strength throughout. Developing body control. 7.14 sixty time. 75 mph outfield velocity. 86 mph exit velocity (tee). Holds the weight to the back side in the stance. Keeps the knees inside the feet and uses a controlled stride to time a short hand load. Barrel is coiled slightly. Showed occasional ability to stay connected through contact. Lofted path and gap to gap power present. Fields the ball outside the left foot and uses a larger pro step to time up an exchange at the midsection and longer arm action. Throws showed fade to the arm side with good accuracy.
