Georgetown Prep 7, Paul VI 0
Andrew Ashur pitched a masterful complete game shutout Tuesday against Paul VI (VA).  The Davidson commit gave up two hits with four strikeouts and did not issue a walk in the game. Ashur kept a talented Paul VI lineup off balance the entire game with his good mix of pitches and aggressively attacked the strike zone en route to the victory. Chandler Redmond led the offense attack for Georgetown Prep with two hits and one RBI. Harry Flannery added two hits. 

Stephen Decatur 4, Parkside 3
Decatur scores two runs in the top of the seventh to come from behind and take the victory in one of the eastern shore’s top rivalries. One of the top pitching matchups of the year had UVA commit Grant Donahue for Decatur versus University of Maryland commit Hunter Parsons for Parkside.
Donahue did not have his best stuff but battled for four innings and kept Decatur in the game.  Parkside could not take advantage of 11 free passes dealt by the Decatur pitching staff. Parsons went six innings giving up two runs and struck out six. Brady Shreeves got the loss giving up two unearned runs in the seventh. Shreeves led Parkside offense with two of the teams’ three hits. Sean Colgan and Austin Dondore each had a hit and a RBI to lead Decatur.

Bishop McNamara 11, Garfield 2
Ian Clements went 2-for-3 with two RBI to lead the way for the Mustangs in the win. Chase Ragsdale and Will Vickers each had two hits in the effort. Nick Washington gets the win going four innings giving up two runs with four strikeouts.

Huntingtown 9, South River 1
Brandon Vogtsberger went six innings giving up one hit and striking out two to pace Huntingtown in their victory. Nick Gardner has two hits and Cameron Sydnor adds three RBI as seven Hurricane players hit safely. Huntingtown puts five run on the board in the sixth to pull away.

Kyle Blucher goes 3-for-5 with four RBI and Kasey Gast collects three RBI on two hits in the win. Kyle Kress strikes out 10 in five innings of work

Archbishop Spalding 9, Darlington(SC) 0
Kevin Heiss has two hits, LaVale Hodges and Barret Smith each have two RBI. Tyler Blohm goes five innings striking out nine.

Easton 4, Queen Anne 2
Matt Burns pitches seven strong innings scattering seven hits and has seven strikeouts in the victory.

Freedom 8, St. Mary’s Ryken 4
Ryken outhits Freedom but are unable to overcome five errors in the loss.

Kent Island 4, North Caroline 3
Jarod Pezzano has two RBI to lead Buccaneers in the win.

Lackey 1, McDonough 0
Lackey wins in bottom of the eighth.  Ausin Ball goes seven innings giving up one hit with four strikeouts for Lackey.  David Larson has 12 strikeouts and gives up one hit in seven innings for McDonough.

Mount St. Joseph 8, St. Paul’s 3
Tim McManus goes 2-for-3 with three RBI and Max Rogers pitches six strong innings giving up three runs.

Paint Branch 14, Watkins Mill 0
Tommy Nicholson throws five inning no-hitter with six strikeouts.  Alex Kidwiler homers for Paint Branch.

Poolesville 11, Damascus 0
Eight run third inning leads Poolesville to the victory.  Jordan Cissel and Stephen Morningstar each have two hits and Michael Vetter has three RBI.

Smithsburg 6, Manchester Valley 5
Justin Smith goes 3-for-5 with three RBI to lead Smithsburg to the victory.

St. Mary’s 4, Annapolis 1
Tre D’Amico scores two runs and Max Hammond knocks in two to lead the Saints to the victory. Brady O’Neil adds an RBI. Kade Keys and Jake Norris split the game and give up one unearned run and combine to strike out 11.

Voyager (NC) 8, DeMatha 4
Stags commit five errors in the loss. Andrew Keith leads the way going 2-for-3.
