4A Top 25

No. 5 Columbus East 9 Seymour 2 – Cam Curry threw a complete game to get the win allowing two runs on two hits while striking out eight. Kyle Weiss was 3-5 with a double, homerun, two RBI, and two runs to lead the way offensively. Curry was 3-4 with a triple and two RBI, Joey Back was 3-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs, and Noah Wichman was 2-2 with three runs. 

No. 11 Lawrence North 14 North Central (Indy) 12 – LN scored 10 runs in the top of the sixth to put them in the lead for good. Justin Reed was 2-5 two triples, four RBI, and three runs, Nolan Watson was 2-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and two runs, and Josh Sampoll was 2-3 with a double and a RBI. Coby Taylor was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Skyler Ramberger was 1-4 with a RBI and two runs, and Tyler Hofmann was 2-4 with two runs. 

No. 12 Crown Point 8 No. 7 Munster 7 – Crown Point scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to send the game into extras. In the eighth Andrew Atchison drew a bases loaded walk to get the win. Alex Ruiz was 1-3 with a homerun, three RBI, and two runs, Thayne Bukowski was 3-4 with two doubles and two runs, Mitchell Kooi was 2-4 with two RBI, and Cory Brown was 1-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run. Ruiz got the win throwing the final two innings allowing one hit, one unearned run, and striking out two.

 

3A Top 10

No. 5 Crawfordsville 13 Owen County (TN) 2 – Westin Evans was 2-4 with two doubles, five RBI, and two runs, Sam Page was 2-4 with a homerun, three RBI, and two runs, and Nick Corbin was 3-4 with three RBI and three runs. Chase Dowell was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, Michael Minks was 2-4 with a double, and Dane Baldwin was 2-4. Justin Raters picked up the win throwing four innings allowing one hit, two unearned run, and striking out eight. 

No. 5 Crawfordsville 8 Germantown 7 – Caden Jones was 2-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Trent Johnson was 2-4 with a RBI, Westin Evans was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Michael Minks was 2-3, and Dane Baldwin was 2-4. Baldwin threw all seven innings, not allowing an earned run, giving up seven hits and striking out four.

 

2A/1A Top 10

No. 6 Alexandria 9 Tri County 4 – Chet Maynard picked up the win in relief throwing four innings allowing two earned runs, five hits, and striking out three. Blaize Kelly struck out six in three innings, allowing one unearned run and two hits. Braxton Moore was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, Jonah Jerrills was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and three runs, Owen Young was 2-4 with a triple and a run, and Bryce Montgomery was 2-2.

Bedford North Lawrence 10 Brown County 0 – Mason Mack threw all five innings to get the win allowing two hits and striking out two. Brandt Callahan was 2-2 with a double and three RBI, Ronnie Watson was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and a run scored, Drew Hensley was 3-4 with a run, Jake Alvey was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, Jack Green was 1-2 with two RBI and a run, and Cole Mathews was 1-3 with a RBI and a run. 

Heritage Hills 8 Washington 0 – Tyler Ward picked up the win throwing five shutout innings allowing four hits and striking out seven. Cory Ebelhar led the offense going 2-4 with a double, homerun, and five RBI. 

Plainfield 14 Martinsville 3 – Seth Knuckles led the offense going 3-4 with a double, homerun, six RBI, and a run scored. Daylan Nanny was 2-4 with two RBI and three runs, Coy Anderson was 2-3 with three RBI and two runs, Jackson Blevins was 2-2 with two RBI, and Kalib Clark was 2-4 with a double. Knuckles picked up the win throwing 3.2 shutout innings allowing three hits and striking out four. 

Princeton 14 Vincennes 1 – Kyle Stuckey was 2-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and a run, David Ellis was 3-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, and Cordell Gooch was 2-4 with two RBI. Brady Russell was 2-3 with a double and a RBI, Lane Rumple was 1-2 with two RBI, Nathan Williams was 2-4 with three runs, and Grant Holder was 1-3 with a RBI. 

Seeger 9 Bismark Henning 6 – Josh Orahood and Kendall Briles led the offense in the win. Orahood was 3-4 with a double, homerun, two RBI, and two runs and Briles was 2-4 with a homerun and five RBI. Terron Wade was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, Adam Peterson was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Chandler White was 2-4 with a run. White picked up the win throwing 5.1 innings allowing one run on five hits while striking out six. 

Sullivan 3 Linton 1 – Jarrad Klitz struck out 11 in the complete game win allowing one run on four hits. Evan Conner was 2-3 with a double and a run, Trevor Magill had two RBI, Cody Turner was 1-2 with a double, and Sam Steimel was 1-3 with a RBI. 

White River Valley 6 South Knox 4 – Hunter Cornelius led the offense going 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs. Dilean Delph doubled and drove in two, Brayton Cornelius was 2-4 with two runs, Tyler York was 1-3 with a double and two runs, and Trey English was 2-4. Delph picked up the win throwing four innings allowing two earned runs, six hits, and striking out two. Brayton Cornelius threw three shutout innings to close out the game allowing one hit and striking out three. 

Whiteland 18 Indian Creek 6 – Whiteland pounded out 17 hits in five innings. Jacob Roberson was 23-3 with a RBI and athree runs, Chris Pieper was 2-3 with a double, four RBI, and a run, Christian Curry was 2-3 with a RBI and three runs, Ryan Turner was was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and a run, and Branton Santon was 2-4 with a homerun, two RBI, and three runs. Caleb Deiter was 2-5 with a RBI and two runs, Austin Browning was 1-1 with a homerun, two RBI, and two runs, and Brayton Taylor was 1-3 with two RBI and a run.
