4A Tournament
 

Sectional 1:

Hammond Morton 14 East Chicago Central 4 – Tobin Mielenz threw five innings to get the win, striking out six and Devonte Robinson was 2-5 with a double and three RBI.

Lake Central 3 Highland 1 – Joe Graziano threw a great game on the mound striking out 13 in a complete game win allowing one run on four hits.

 

Sectional 2: Champ – Chesterton

Chesterton 5 LaPorte 0 – Matt Kubacki got the win for the sectional title throwing a complete game shutout allowing five hits and striking out nine. Anthony Kurek led the offense going 2-2 with a double, three RBI, and a run scored.

Sectional 4: Champ – Northridge

Northridge 3 Warsaw 0

 

Sectional 5: Champ – FW Snider

FW Snider 3 FW North Side 2

 

Sectional 7:

Harrison 7 McCutcheon 5 – Carter Birdge led the offense going 2-4 with two homerun, three RBI, and three runs. Jeep Morehouse also homered and drove in three runs and Rhett Baxter was 1-4 with a RBI and a run. Matt McConnell got the win on the mound throwing a complete game, striking out 10.

Logansport 5 Kokomo 2

 

Sectional 8: Champ – Hamilton Southeastern

Zionsville 6 Westfield 1 – Jack Pilcher was 3-3 with two doubles, a RBI, and a run, Jacob Hurd was 2-4 with two RBI and two runs, Grant Sloan doubled and drove in a run, and Nick Prather was 1-3 with a run. RJ Wagner got the win throwing 4.2 innings allowing one run on four hits, striking out seven.

HSE 1 Fishers 0 – Michael Pachmeyer was dominant on the mound throwing a complete game two hit shutout to get the win, striking out nine. Jonathon McGee drove in the lone run on a sac fly, Owen Callaghan was 2-2 with a run scored, and Matthew Gorski went 2-4.

HSE 2 Zionsville 1 – Aaron McGee broke up a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the sixth with a solo homerun. Two runs was enough for Andrew Bohm who throwing a complete game allowing one run on three hits, striking out three.

 

Sectional 9: Champ – Pendleton Heights

New Castle 9 Anderson 1

Sectional 11:

Decatur Central 5 Southport 2

 

Sectional 12:

Terre Haute North 12 Brownsburg 7 – North held on to the win after resuming a game postponed due to rain from Saturday. Chase Jones had a huge game going 4-4 with two homeruns, six RBI, and three runs scored. TJ Collett went 1-1 with a homerun, two RBI, and four runs, Brandon Curley had two RBI and a run, and Aric Wisbey scored three times. Greg Hannum got the win throwing five innings allowing four earned runs.

Sectional 13: Champ – Center Grove

Sectional 14: Champ – Bloomington South

Bloomington South 3 Bloomington North 1 – Nick Wright threw a complete game in the win allowing eight hits, no earned runs, and struck out three. Cole McNeely went 2-3 with a RBI, Right was 1-2 with a RBI, and Tyler Van Pelt was 1-2 with a run.

 

Sectional 15:

Seymour 4 Bedford North Lawrence 2 – Mitchell Moore got the win throwing a complete game allowing two runs on seven hits, striking out four. Jorge Vega went 2-3 with two RBI, Moore went 2-4 with two RBI, Alan Perry was 2-3 with a double and two runs, and Satoshi Hirose scored twice.

 

 

3A Tournament

Sectional 17: Champ – Griffith

Griffith 12 Hammond Gavit 2 – Josh Terzarial had a big game at the plate going 3-4 with two homeruns and four RBI. Anthony Quintero went 3-4 with a homerun, two RBI, and three runs, Kody Hoese was 2-4 with two doubles, a RBI, and a run, and Julian Rutherford and Amir Wright each went 1-3 with two RBI and a run.

 

Sectional 18:

Wheeler 5 Kankakee Valley 4 F/9 – Sam Bolla scored on an error in the bottom of the ninth for the win. Jake LaFever went 4-4 with a double, triple, and two runs, Nick Wolf was 2-3 with a double and two RBI, Jacob Armentrout was 1-3 with a triple, RBI, and a run, and Keenan Miller was 3-5 with a run. LaFever threw 2.2 shutout innings to close out the game and get the win, allowing three hits and striking out five.

Andrean 7 Hanover Central 4 – Lukas Jaksich threw 3.1 shutout innings to get the win allowing just one hit. Noah Davis homered and drove in three runs and John Albomonte went 1-2 with a RBI and two runs.

 

Sectional 19: Champ – SB St. Joseph

SB St. Joe 8 Jimtown 7 – Max Harrison was 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Wes Short was 1-3 with two RBI and a run, Tony Carmola was 2-2 with a RBI and a run, Carlos Matovina was 1-1 with a RBI and a run, and Daniel Torres doubled and scored twice. Connor Gentry got the win throwing 5.2 innings allowing four earned runs, five hits, and struck out six.

 

Sectional 20:

Peru 5 Northwestern 1 – Cameron Beauchamp struck out 11 in a complete game win allowing one run on three hits. Logan Primerano went 2-3 with a solo homerun, Kreighton Ray was 1-3 with two RBI, Brady Miller was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Beauchamp had a RBI and a run.

Sectional 23: Champ – Heritage

Heritage 8 Bellmont 1 – Branson Dossen had a huge game going 3-4 with three homeruns and five RBI. Austin Conrad was 3-5 with a RBI and a run, Jacob Hockemeyer went 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Matthew Gibson was 2-4 with a double and a run, and Jacque Jacquay was 2-4 with a RBI. Andrew Saalfrank threw a great game on the mound striking out 16 in a complete game win allowing three hits and one unearned run.

 

Sectional 24: Champ – Yorktown

Yorktown 10 Blackford 0 – Nick Robinson threw all five innings allowing two hits and striking out seven. Nathan Phillips went 2-3 with two solo homeruns, Brady Horine went 2-3 with a homerun, three RBI, and two runs, Anthony Todd went 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Jacob Preston was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Blake Upchurch and Clay Dungan each went 1-3 with a RBI and a run

Yorktown 1 Muncie Central 0 – Jake Clawson struck out nine and threw a one hit complete game shutout to get the sectional title. Brady Horine’s second hit of the day was walk off single in the bottom of the seventh to win the Championship. Anthony Todd singled to start the frame and Jordan Coleman scored the winning run coming in as a pinch runner.

 

Sectional 25: Champ – Frankfort

Frankfort 3 Crawfordsville 0 – Leo Lopez had another dominant start on the mound throwing a four hit complete game shutout, striking out eight. Jose Valdes went 1-2 with two RBI, Jarrod Smith was 2-4, and Daniel Santos had a RBI and a run.

 

Sectional 26: Champ – New Palestine

New Pal 4 Brebeuf 1 – New Pal scored three in the bottom of the sixth to break a 1-1 tie. Hogan Fulkerson threw a complete game allowing just one run on four hits, striking out three. Evan Hickman went 2-3 with a double and a RBI, Zach Lovell went 2-3 with a RBI, Braden Roberts was 1-3 with a RBI, Logan Gilvan had a RBI, and Keegan Watson scored two runs.

Sectional 28: Champ – West Vigo

West Vigo 11 Edgewood 0 – Wyatt Lowe threw all five innings allowing just two hits and striking out three. Davie Inman was 2-3 with a homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Ty Lautenschlager was 2-2 with two RBI and a run, Ames was 2-3 with a RBI, and Cardinal was 2-3 with two runs.

North Harrison 2 Silver Creek 0 – Micah Napper was dominant on the mound threw a two hit complete game shutout, striking out 11. Jacob Faith doubled and drove in a run, Koonor Voyles went 1-3 with a RBI, and Alex Flock was 1-2 with a triple and two runs.

Sectional 33:

Boone Grove 12 River Forest 5 – David Sorrell went 3-4 with a two RBI and a run and Jake Morris was 2-3 with a triple, two RBI, and a run. Morris got the win throwing a complete game, striking out nine.

Hebron 20 Whiting 4 – Tyler Patrick threw all five innings allowing one earned run, four hits, and struck out seven. Hunter Ryan went 2-2 with a three RBI and three runs, Jarrett Majcher was 3-5 with two doubles, three RBI, and two runs, and Luke Woodward went 3-4 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs.

 

Sectional 34: Champ – Lafayette Central Catholic

LCC 10 North Newton 2 – Dylan Kiracofe went 2-4 with a homerun and three RBI, Anthony Beruman went 2-3 with two RBI and two runs, Luke Schrader went 1-4 with two RBI and a run, Adam Lovell had two RBI, and Jackson Anthrop was 2-3 with a run. Anthrop threw four innings to get the win allowing one run on two hits, striking out three.

Southwood 9 Oak Hill 6 – Robbie Cole went 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Brennan Kelly was 2-4 with three RBI, Clay Hinrichsen was 2-2 with a double and a run, Zach Ball was 1-2 with three runs, Nathan Hollars was 2-4 with a run, and Brandin Frazier was 1-4 with a RBI and a run.

Alexandria 14 Madison-Grant 2 – Chet Maynard went 2-3 with a double, triple, three RBI, and two runs, Blaize Kelly went 1-2 with three RBI and a run, and Matthew Hensley and Jessie Gossett each went 1-2 with a RBI and a run. Kelly got the win throwing a complete game allowing two runs, three hits, and struck out six.

 

Sectional 40: Champ – Lapel

Lapel 8 Wapahani 0 – Brady Cherry struck out 10 in a complete game shutout, allowing just three hits. Cherry went 2-4 with a homerun, four RBI, and two runs, John Magers was 3-4 with a RBI and two runs, Jaxson Shirley was 2-3 with a RBI, and Chase Sizemore doubled and scored twice.

Sullivan 3 Linton 0 – Samuel Steimel threw a perfect game to give Sullivan the sectional title, striking out six. Evan Conner was 1-3 with two RBI, Trevor Magill had a RBI, Steimel was 1-2 with a run, and Jonathan Cox doubled.

 

Sectional 48: Champ – South Spencer

South Spencer 12 Forest Park 2 – Kobe Stephens went 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and three runs, Caleb Helms went 1-1 with two RBI and three runs, Jesse Stallings went 2-4 with a RBI, Sammy Rowan was 3-4 with a double and a run, Tyler Schneider had three RBI, Zeth Young was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Trevor Lehr was 1-2 with two runs. Jon Michael Stallings threw all five innings to get the win allowing two hits, two unearned runs, and struck out seven.

Morgan Township 11 Kouts 4 – Jacob Hernandez went 1-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Jake Koselke was 2-3 with a double and three runs, Dalton Kizior was 1-3 with two RBI, Jake Sutton was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Nick Conner was 1-4 with a RBI and a run. Drew Meschede threw 5.2 innings to get the win allowing two earned runs, five hits, and struck out nine.

 

Sectional 50: Champ – North White

North White 3 Pioneer 2 – Caleb Hendress threw five innings to get the win allowing two runs on three hits, striking out six. Luke Diener threw two shutout innings to close out the game, striking out two. Jarod Shane went 1-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Clint Hendress was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Cole Frybort was 2-3 with a double, amd Diener was 1-3 with a run.

 

Sectional 51:

Triton 10 Oregon-Davis 1

South Central 11 LaCrosse 0 – Noah Eaton threw five shutout innings to get the win allowing just one hit and striking out six. RJ Snyder led the offense going 2-3 with a double, triple, three RBI, and a run scored.

 

Sectional 52: Champ – FW Blackhawk Christian

Elkhart Christian 8 Bethany Christian 0

FW Blackhawk Christian 15 Elkhart Christian 5 – Riley Reimchisel had a big game going 4-4 with three doubles, a homerun, four RBI, and four runs. Nathan Targgart went 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and three runs, Nathan Moonen went 2-4 with a double, RBI, and three runs, and Andrew Pierce went 3-4 with a double and two runs.

 

Sectional 53: Champ – Rockville

Rockville 14 North Vermillion 4 – Dalton Laney got the win on the mound. Kyle Paddock and Ben Cunningham each had three hits

 

Sectional 54: Champ – Carroll

Carroll 4 Frontier 2 – Jared Miller threw a complete game in the win allowing just three hits, none until the sixth inning.

Sectional 56: Champ – Blue River Valley

Blue River Valley 8 Seton Catholic 1 – Noah Brown went 3-4 with three RBI and two runs, Pete Wissel doubled and scored twice, Bryce Thompson went 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Chase Spain was 1-1 with a RBI. Wissel got the win throwing six innings allowing one run on four hits, striking out eight.

 

Sectional 58:

Greenwood Christian 14 University 7 – Krae Sparks went 2-2 with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs, Alec Brown was 3-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Braden Murray was 2-4 with three RBI and a run, Nolan Check went 2-3 with a double, RBI, and three runs, Jacob Hagist was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Nate Weems went 1-3 with three runs. Murray got the win throwing four innings allowing two earned runs, five hits, and struck out seven.

Lutheran 12 Morristown 0 – Seth Hougesen had a great game on the mound striking out 18 in a complete game shutout, allowing just three hits. Jason Sneed went 4-4, Addison Robertson was 4-5 with three RBI and three runs, Jake Reid was 3-4 with a double and a RBI, Cody Moncel was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, and Hougesen was 2-5 with a double and three RBI.
