PBR: Why did you choose Ohio Northern?

Breeze: ONU is a great school and a great baseball program that I am happy to be apart of. 

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Breeze: It was between ONU and Otterbein. 

PBR:  Where did the coaching staff first see you compete?

Breeze: ONU saw me at a tournament at Wright State and at a PBR event last year. 

PBR: What role does Coach Stechschulte expect you to play during your first year on campus?

Breeze: To be apart of the pitching staff and hopefully some first base as well. 

PBR: Coach Stechschulte was a former MLB pitcher.  How much of a role did that play in your decision, knowing you would receive some of his firsthand knowledge?

Breeze: It did play a role in my decision. Coach Stechschulte has a lot of connections and experience at the next level. It could also help in later years because I would like to become a coach someday after college. 

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?

Breeze: I would have to say my summer coach Tom Kuncl, he has taught me everything I know and I have played for him for 9 or 10 years now. He has also given me a lot of opportunities and experience. Also my pitching coach Bob Reichow, who I have been working with for about 10 years now and taught me everything I know about pitching. 

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most exciting experience playing summer ball?

Breeze: I play for Cincinnati Baseball Club Elite Black 17U. The best thing about it is getting to play with a great group of guys and coaching staff that all have a great love for the game. They're a great group of ball players who I consider some of my best friends. We're family. 

PBR: What were your stats last season?

Breeze: Last summer I batted .365 with 3HR 

PBR: Who is the toughest hitter you have faced?

Breeze: Luke Waddell
