LCA traveled to Lafayette last Wednesday with 12 consecutive wins, but senior Brandon Calia made sure the Generals weren’t the next team added to that streak.

The right-hander dominated LCA in firing a complete game, two-hit shutout in Lafayette’s 6-0 victory over their district rival. Calia, a Georgetown College commit, walked none and struck out 13 in the efficient 84 pitch effort. He threw 64 pitches for strikes including first-pitch strikes to 20 of the 23 batters he faced.

For his performance on the field, Lafayette RHP Brandon Calia has been selected as the PBR Kentucky Pitcher of the Week for April 27-May 2.
