LHP Jake Triulzi (Parkway West HS) makes his commitment

LHP Jake Triulzi (Parkway West) has committed to Kirkwood Community College in Iowa.  Last season, the 5-foot-11, 215-pound southpaw appeared in eight games for the Longhorns, posting a 1-1 record and 3.42 ERA.  Triulzi also struck out an impressive 29 batters in only 14.1 innings while holding opposing hitters to a .189 batting average.  He features a low- to mid-80s fastball and a late-breaking, over-the-top curveball.

Triulzi is a product of the St. Louis Pirates organization.
