Every week, PBR Maryland holds an interactive chat through Twitter with our followers. Our goal is to be accessible. This is your chance to take advantage of our expertise. Ask questions to Jerry Shank, Maryland Scouting Director, about the recruiting process, upcoming high school season, specific prospects, PBR events, or anything else that may be on your mind.

We would like to thank all who participated, we enjoy bringing you knowledge and expertise on players and programs in your area.

We will be answering questions throughout the week, stay tuned.

The top questions from the Ask.FM Q&A Sessions

What do we have to do to get noticed by PBR?
--The easiest way to be seen by PBR is by attending a PBR ran event, which instantly creates a profile for you and adds all of your performance results from the event on the profile. We are trying to cover as much of the state as we can and any help is greatly appreciated in pointing us in the right direction to find players. We will be going to a lot of games over the spring with that goal in mind. The other way is through our recommend a prospect page which is here: http://www.prepbaseballreport.com/request-showcase-invite/MD/md-recommend-a-prospect

Will our video from a PBR showcase be in a format that we can send to other coaches by e-mail?
--Even easier than that. All you have to do is send them the link to your profile. Point, click, recruit. You can quickly look at the PBR Maryland stories entitled "The Recruiting Road", to see what some colleges in the state have to say about PBR. All video easily plays on a computer.

Will the video from the event be available to athletes
--Video is available to all of our subscribers, which currently has 500+ college and professional scouts across the country. Our subscriptions are not just solely for them however as the content and stories on our website give an all access pass to amateur baseball and great information such as college recruiting, draft watch, scout blogs, insider blogs, and so forth. If you are interested in looking at our subscription packages follow this website: http://www.prepbaseballreport.com/pbr-store.html

What are some name that your excited to see at the Preseason ID
--We are excited to see everyone!!!!

What are the top 5 high schools in Md?
--Tough to rank right now as I need to see them more in game. Paper voting I'm ranking in no particular order: Reservoir, Gaithersburg, Spalding, Parkside, Calvert Hall, St. Mary's, Georgetown Prep, and DeMatha. Yea that is more than five. We'll narrow it down soon enough.

Do you cover public schools?
--Absolutely, PBR Maryland will be the #1 source for Maryland High School Baseball. We are going to travel to as many games as we can and see as many players as we can. Just covering a lot of private school teams now because public schools can't do too much at this time.
