The top questions from the Ask.FM Q&A Sessions

Are there anymore events for a high school player to showcase himself other than the preseason I.D. on the 21st?

--Yes there will be other events. We are currently getting events scheduled in the summer and will have them up and running soon. Stay tuned to us on twitter and you can check http://www.prepbaseballreport.com/maryland/showcases to find the full list of events

Is the Maryland Pre season ID the only way to get an invite to the MD top prospect games this summer?

--No it is not, right now its the quickest way to earn an invite. The high school season will play a factor if we happen to see you in a game, but there will be an event prior to as well to give players an opportunity to make the Top Prospect Games. Once again stay tuned as we are finalizing the summer schedule and will have these events posted.

Any early predictions on surprise position players in the MIAA?

--I think David Harding of Spalding is going to be a player to have a nice year and make the switch from OF to INF which isn't the easiest of switches. Max Hammond could be a presence in the middle of the order and at 1B for St. Mary's. Ricardo Duncan Jr.is an interesting junior for St. Pauls. Jonathan Brice for Curley is another to keep an eye on.

Why haven't you covered my team in the previews?

What catchers have stood out to you this winter?

--I think MD in general has a lot of quality catchers in the state. Trey Martinez of Gaithersburg, Colby Byers of Williamsport, Dylan Nepert at Col. Richardson, Spencer Horwitz and Jake Sebastian at St. Paul's, Brady O'Neil at St. Mary's, Brady Ward Arundel are a few that come to mind. I'm sure I am missing a few

Under the radar 2016 pitchers that are uncommitted?

--Bruce Pattishall from Paint Branch, Kade Keys, St. Mary's, Bradley Sawyer Gaithersburg. That list will grow as the season progresses
