The top questions from the ask.fm Q&A session

+Think the biggest splash this year so far by a freshmen has been in DE by Austin Elliott and Zack Gelof throwing a combined no hitter. Both are freshmen and Elliott made the 2018 Top 50 Overall players.

Which team in MD has the most lethal pitching staff?

+That is a tough one. Spalding (Blohm, Carr, Binder) and Gaithersburg(Felitti, Pantos) are very solid with talented arms. Parkside should be put into that equation as well. Parsons, Shreeves are the steady arms and Grant Burleson seems to be making a name for himself as well.

Team that has been a surprise so far?

+Col. Richardson would be my surprise this far. off to a great start on the shore which is easy to be an after thought with Parkside, Decatur, and Bennett.

How will Severna Park be this year? Looking for a good rivalry.

+So far they are off to a very nice start. Offense is rolling. It looks like they need to be more consistent on defense and pitching and the pitching seems to be getting stronger. those factors could be the difference in where the season goes. they have a good mixture of youngsters and upperclassmen as well.

Will PBR have high school team rankings in addition to the player rankings?

+It is in the works.

Will you be adding all the Maryland players into the rankings anytime soon?

+Currently the Maryland players are in our overall ranking across the PBR network of states. Soon Maryland will have state rankings up.

What do you think about Parkside High School this year? Another chance for the state title?

+The way they are playing now I think it's a great possibility. Although Decatur beat them and are a strong contender in their own right. It could easily come down to which one of those two teams make it out.

How will Chopticon be this year?

+They have a good core of seniors a potent lineup and some strong pitching. Ljay Newsome on the mound can give them a chance to win every time on the hill.
