Another week of make up games last week as we head into the final day of MPSSAA baseball play and the final week of the MIAA regular season in the next two days. The MPSSAA playoffs begin on Thursday for round 1 of the sectionals and continue Saturday for the sectional semifinals, which will see the majority of teams get underway.

Riverdale Baptist again sees themselves at the top spot in the state with an impressive 28-1 record as they currently are in Puerto Rico this week playing a full slate. Moving back into the top five are Sherwood after a 2-0 week and they finish the regular season at 17-1 and end up at No. 2. Archbishop Curley drops to No. 3 after a loss to Calvert Hall, who enters the rankings this week at No. 21. At No. 4 is Severna Park after they claimed the AA County championship last night over Arundel. Roudning out the Top five is John Carroll.

New Teams this week to the Power 25 include: Walkersville, Calvert Hall, La Plata, Roosevelt, and Loyola Blakefield.
