For the first time this regular season we bring you an updated Power 25 with a new number one team in the land. No. 1 Huntingtown and No. 2 Sherwood both suffered heart-breaking one-run losses last week opening the door for Calvert Hall to jump from No. 3 to No. 1 in this week's updated rankings.

The Cardinals are currently riding a 13-game win streak and sit alone atop the MIAA A Conference standings with a perfect 11-0 record. Colonel Richardson also rises two spots to No. 2 as they continue their perfect run to open the season, currently sitting at 13-0.

In at No. 3 are the defending 4A state champion Howard Lions who are also riding a pretty impressive win streak of their own. They have won 11 straight with their only loss coming to Mount Hebron by one run way back on March 27th.

After falling to No. 13 Severna Park on Saturday, Huntingtown drops to No. 4 in the Old Line State in this week's Power 25 update. In at No. 5 and up three spots are the Georgetown Prep Hoyas and right behind them are our previous No. 2; the Sherwood Warriors who suffered a devastating one-run loss on the final play of the game earlier in the week against No. 7 Bethesda-CC.

Enough talk, let's look at the new Power 25!
