Munster Dominates, Beats Hobart 11-1

It was a night where Munster had everything going. Starting left handed
pitcher Anthony Gomez (2012: uncommitted), threw a no-hitter in his five
innings pitched, while striking out 4.  In addition, Munster's hitting was
the best it's been all year.

With Sophomore Brandon Murray (2014: uncommitted) sitting at 84-87mph, and
hitting 88-89mph on a consistent basis, he did not have a ton of defensive
help, and Munster had a great approach at the plate.

Munster got on the board early, scoring 4 runs in the top half of the 1st,
and never looked back. Munster had two hit performances by their top four
hitters; Craig Dedelow (2013: uncommitted), Collin Mudroncik (2012:
uncommitted), Chris Slivka (2012: Emory), and Sophomore Alex Del Rio (2014:
uncommitted). Also chipping in with two hits was Senior Scott Crilly from
Munster.

Surprising Players of the Day: Sophomores Brandon Murray of Hobart and Alex
Del Rio of Munster. With Murray, he was worth the wait to see. Big framed
kid, who has a very live arm, and will be a high followed kid through the
next three years. With Del Rio, we saw some raw power off his bat on
Thursday. The left handed hitter, currently batting 4th in their lineup,
nearly hit a two run home run in the 6th, on a ball that was scorched off
the right field fence. Definitely two players to watch.
