The Region XX Division 2 Tournament is set to start this week with the play-in games beginning on Tuesday at two sites. Frederick CC (#1 Seed) and CCBC Essex (#2 Seed) earned byes to the weekend double elimination tournament which will begin on Friday at Frederick CC. 

Chesapeake College (#3 Seed) will host Garrett College (#6 Seed) and CCBC Dundalk (#7 Seed) while Montgomery College (#4 Seed) will host CCBC Catonsville (#5 Seed) and Allegany College of Maryland (#8 Seed) on Tuesday. The winner of each pod will qualify for the weekend double elimination bracket and join Frederick CC and CCBC Essex. 

Frederick CC, CCBC Essex and the two winners of Tuesday's pods will battle it out Friday, May 10th through Sunday, May 12th in a double elimination style tournament to determine the Region XX Division 2 Champion. The winner of this year's Region XX Division 2 tournament will advance to the Northeast District Championship and host a best-of-three series against the winner of Region 19 beginning on May 17th.
