No. 22 Dulaney remained unbeaten in Baltimore County play Tuesday with a big (5-3) win on the road at Catonsville. 2021 RHP Wilson Farlow set the tone on the mound for the Lions holding Catonsville to just one run on four hits in four and two-thirds innings pitched. Farlow showed excellent control and mixed all three of his pitches extremely well keeping the Comets hitters off balance all day.

Dulaney struck early scoring two runs in the first highlighted by a Finn Drew RBI line drive single to left-center field. Comets starting shortstop Mark Brady cut the lead in half with an RBI single to left field in the bottom of the third but Dulaney would quickly answer back in top of the fourth as Kyle Trammell crossed home plate on a Will Behm groundout to second base making it 3-1.

The game would remain tied with neither team really threatening much until 2021 OF Reid Bark sent one deep to right field for a two-run homer in the top of the seventh to give the Lions two more insurance runs. Those insurance runs would prove to be the difference as Catonsville mounted a comeback in the bottom half.

Dulaney reliever Cole McGee recorded two strikeouts sandwiched around a hit to start the bottom half of the seventh but the Comets wouldn't go down easy. A walk to the fourth hitter of the inning set the stage for the hot hitting Brady who singled to plate the Comets second run of the ballgame. 2021 OF Nick Eiswert then doubled off the wall in right-center field to score the team's third run and make it second and third with two outs. Eiswert's drive came just inches away from going out and tying the game.

After back-to-back hits, Dulaney went to the pen for righty Will Farley who came on to face Comets clean-up hitter and starting pitcher on the day, Will Jones. Jones fought to a full count but it was Farley who eventually won the battle, striking him out on a low curveball to end the game and preserve the 5-3 win.

Bark (1-for-3, BB, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R), Drew (1-for-3, BB, RBI), Bryce Frederick (3-for-3, BB), and Connor Stewart (1-for-4, R) led the way offensively for Dulaney who improves to 7-1 on the season. Junior Mark Brady finished 3-for-4 with 2 RBI's for the Comets.
