Anthony Cerreto, SS, St Vincent St Mary HS, 2015

5-foot-11, 160 pounds with an average athletic frame.  Ran a home to first time of 5.02 seconds.  In the field, he throws from a low 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Features a clean exchange with average footwork.  Needs to play through the ball.  Reached a top arm speed of 76 mph across the infield.  At the plate, he uses a wide stance with a short stride.  Offers a level swing with good bat speed.  Tendency to be a little heavy on front foot.  Linedrive type that can use the whole field.  Registered a top exit velocity of 75 mph.

Ben Beachy, SS/RHP, Springboro HS, 2015

6-foot-1, 170 pound two way prospect.  Smooth in the field showing soft hands, and decent footwork.  Plays well through the ball.  Needs to quicken exchange.  Registered a top arm velocity of 75 mph across the infield.  At the plate, he starts in a slightly open stance, and uses a short stride.  Smooth load.  Features a strong swing that can poke the gaps at times.  Registered a top exit velocity of 75 mph.  On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Good tempo.  Easy effort guy, as the ball jumps out of his hand.  Featured a 77-79 mph fastball that showed some arm side run.  Also used an 11/5 tilt, 60-62 mph curveball that showed good depth. 

Braun Miller, LHP, Sandusky Perkins HS, 2015

6-foot-4, 168 pounds with a tall lanky frame.  One of the top left handers in Ohio’s 2015 class. On the mound, the southpaw throws from a 3/4 slot with long arm action.  Easy effort delivery.  He showed good command with an 83-85 mph fastball that consistently showed late life in the zone.  He also throws a very impressive hard 75-78 mph slider.  The slider shows sharp movement and proved to be very tough on both left and right handed hitters in the fall league.  Tendency to land closed, causing him to throw across his body. 

Brian Jewsikow, RHP, Springboro HS, 2015

6-foot-0, 130 pounds with a small slim frame.  Interesting right handed pitcher, as he uses a low 3/4 to near sidearm arm slot.  Featured four different pitches.  His fastball sat 75-78 mph with arm side run.  Worked this pitch in on the hands to right handed hitters.  His best secondary pitch was his 65-66 mph slider that showed gradual left to right movement.  He occasionally mixed in an 11/5 tilt curveball that sat around 60-61 mph and showed decent depth.  Also had a 69 mph changeup.

Chace Clouser, 3B/2B, Dublin Jerome HS, 2016

5-foot-9, 170 pounds with a strong frame.  Registered a home to first time of 4.58 seconds.  At the plate, he uses a slightly open stance with short stride.  The left handed hitter features an aggressive swing with quick bat.  Tends to open up front side early causing pull production.  Registered a top exit velocity off the tee at 82 mph.  In the field he shows good glove work while taking decent routes to the ball.  Average arm strength.  Will continue to grow as player by getting physically stronger. 

Collin Floyd, LHP/1B, Akron Springfield HS, 2015

6-foot-3, 205 pounds with a big strong frame. Two-way prospect.  Ran a 5.04 home to first time.  In the field, he shows average hands and a clean exchange.  When turning two he does a good job of keeping his momentum going toward second.  Topped out at 73 mph across the infield.  At the plate, the left handed hitter starts with a narrow stance and uses a short stride.  Strong left handed swing that can produce some pull power.  Needs some developing when trying to drive balls backside.  Top exit velocity of 83 mph off the tee.  On the mound, the left hander threw from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Very fast tempo.  He did a good job of keeping his 81-83 mph fastball down in the zone.  His best secondary pitch was his 1/7 tilt, 69-70 mph curveball.  The breaking ball featured sharp late movement buckling hitters knees.  He also mixed in an occasional 72-73 mph changeup.

David Savron, MIF, Highland HS, 2014

5-foot-8, 140 pounds with a small athletic frame.  Registered a home to first time of 4.79 seconds.  In the field, he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Average hands and footwork.  Showed good accuracy with his throws.  Registered a top arm velocity of 70 mph.  At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance, with short stride.  Uses a level bat path that will generate line drive production.  Pull tendencies is swing.  Reached a top exit velocity of 76 mph off the tee.

Gino Demarino, 2B/OF, Stow-Munroe Falls HS, 2015

5-foot-11, 160 pounds with an athletic frame.  Registered a home to first time of 4.96 seconds.  In the field, he shows the ability to use different arm angles.  Displays a clean transfer, and average footwork.  Let’s his athleticism take over at 2nd base.  Topped out at 66 mph across the infield.  At the plate, he uses a straight on balanced setup, with a toe tap stride.  Tendency to bar lead arm giving you opposite field production.  Level swing with a linedrive approach.  Registered a top exit velocity of 77 mph.

Jake Pronio, OF, Tallmadge HS, 2015

5-foot-6, 130 pounds with a small athletic frame.  Very aggressive and offers good speed on the basepaths.  Throws from an over the top arm slot with long arm action.  Throws on an uphill plane.  Average hands.  Plays well through the ball.  In the outfield, his top arm velocity was 67 mph.  At the plate, he starts with a straight on stance, and uses a small leg kick.  Displays a short compact swing from the left side.  Will use the entire field.  Would like to see him incorporate more use of his lower half. 

Jason Large, OF/2B, St Vincent St Mary HS, 2015

5-foot-8, 135 pounds with a small athletic frame.  Ran a home to first time of 4.23 seconds.  Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Features a clean exchange and fluid footwork.  Average hands.  Showed good accuracy in throws.  From the outfield he topped out at 76 mph.  At the plate, he starts in a slightly open stance, and uses a short stride.  Overall, a smooth left handed stroke with uphill bat path.  Would like to see him take a more aggressive swing when count is in his favor.  Linedrive type.  Registered a top exit velocity of 71 mph off the tee.

Joseph Mezzanotte, OF, Bellbrook HS, 2015

6-foot-1, 175 pounds with an athletic frame.  Ran a home to first time of 4.4 seconds.  Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Shows average hands and footwork.  Takes smart routes to the ball.  From the outfield, his top arm velocity was 71 mph.  At the plate, the left-handed hitter starts with a straight on stance, and uses a short stride.  Features a level swing with linedrive production.  Pull tendencies in swing.  Registered a top exit velocity of 72 mph.

Josh Rogers, RHP/1B, Bellbrook HS, 2015

6-foot-5, 205 pounds with a tall strong frame.  Potential two-way guy.  Registered a home to first time of 4.65 seconds.  In the field, he featured a clean exchange and the ability to throw from different angles.  Above average hands and footwork.  Topped out at 78 mph across the infield.  At the plate, he starts with a closed stance and uses a short stride.  Features a smooth load and uphill bat path.  Pull tendencies.  Impressive bat speed as he recorded a top exit velocity of 89 mph.  On the mound, he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with long and somewhat loose arm action.  Intimidating size and throws on a downhill plane.  His fastball sat 81-85 mph with some arm side run.  He featured two different breaking balls.  The 70-71 mph curveball showed 11/5 action, and good depth.  He also occasionally mixed in a 76 mph slider.

Joshua Meszaros, 3B, Loveland HS, 2015

5-foot-9, 170 pounds with a strong frame.  Registered a 4.48 home to first time.  Can make things happen on the basepaths.  In the field, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Features good glove work, and a somewhat quick exchange.  Accurate with those across the infield. Topped out at 77 mph.  The right handed hitter uses a straight on stance and short stride.  Offers a quick bat with level swing.  Line drive production with pull tendencies.  Registered a top exit velocity of 81 mph.

Kyle Stevenson, C, Akron Springfield HS, 2016

5-foot-11, 175 pound right handed hitting catcher.  Behind the plate, he features good balance and average receiving skills.  Registered pop times between 2.5 and 2.53 seconds.  Would like to see him quicken up his transfer, and keep his momentum going towards second base.  Registered a top arm velocity of 67 mph from home to second.  At the plate he uses a straight on stance with short stride.  Features a short compact level swing from the right side.  Tends to be stiff, and needs to incorporate lower half. 

Michael Barnabei, OF/LHP, Pickerington Central HS, 2014

5-foot-11, 165 pounds with an athletic frame.  Potential two-way guy at the next level.  Registered an impressive 4.18 home to first time.  In the outfield, he features fluid footwork, and a clean transfer.  Plays well through the ball and gets good carry on his throws.  Reached an impressive top arm velocity of 88 mph from the outfield.  The right handed hitter starts with a straight on stance and uses an early load.  Displays an uphill bat path and shows gap to gap ability at times.  Rotational hitter.  Top exit velocity of 82 mph.  On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with long arm action.  Has good command of his 80-82 mph fastball which shows some late arm side run.  His 67-68 mph curveball showed 2/8 tilt.  His best secondary pitch is his 68-69 mph changeup.  His changeup features good diving action, and is thrown at fastball arm speed.

Nick Emery, RHP, Olentangy HS, 2015

6-foot-0, 175 pounds with an average athletic frame.  On the mound, he throws from a high 3/4 slot with short arm action.  Quick arm speed.  Displayed good command of fastball which sat 78-80 mph while showing slight arm side run.  His 11/5 tilt, 63-65 mph curveball showed some sharp late movement.  He also used a 70-72 mph changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed.  Not a ton of movement on the changeup but was able to get hitters out by locating. 

Racco Dilauro, 2B/RHP, Akron Springfield HS, 2015

5-foot-11, 165 pound two way prospect.  Ran a home to first time of 4.96 seconds.  In the field, he shows average hands and footwork.  Plays well through the ball.  Features a quick exchange when making plays toward backhand side.  Topped out at 81 mph across the infield.  At the plate, he starts with a balanced wide stance, and uses a short stride.  Tends to bar arm after his load.  Features a strong aggressive swing that has gap to gap potential.  Smooth weight transfer through contact.  Registered a top exit velocity of 86 mph off the tee.  On the mound, he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Max effort delivery.  His fastball sat 76-77 mph and showed both cut and arm side run.  He also mixed in a 69-71 mph curveball that featured 11/5 movement.

Spencer Bycynski, OF, Ben Logan HS, 2016

6-foot-0, 165 pound left handed hitting outfielder.  Registered a home to first time of 4.52 seconds.  Throws from a high 3/4 slot with short arm action.  Features average hands and footwork.  Displays good carry on throws.  Topped out at 78 mph from the outfield.  At the plate, he starts in a tall straight on stance, and uses a leg kick stride.  Uses the entire field.  Features level bat path, and projects linedrive production.  Off the tee his top exit velocity was 81 mph.

Spencer Helwig, C, St. Xavier HS, 2015

5-foot-11, 150 pounds with an average athletic frame.  Registered a 4.73 home to first time.  Behind the plate, he features a quick transfer and quick arm speed.  Registered pop times between 2.20-2.35.  Also topped out at 71 mph behind the plate.  At the dish, the right handed hitter starts with a slightly open stance and uses a short stride.  Takes an aggressive hack creating some power.  Pull tendencies in his swing.  Registered a top exit velocity of 83 mph.
