Too late - They're off the Board …

Kyle Koppenhoefer, RHP, Elder HS, 2014

6-foot-3, 180-pound righty didn’t wait long to issue a commitment to the University of Cincinnati after the Unsigned Senior Games. Long, lanky, projectable frame. Slow rhythm to his delivery with tall/fall tendencies. Should only improve as he better incorporates lower half. Throws through high ¾ arm slot with long arm action and some quickness. Delivery requires some effort. Fastball sat in the low 80’s and bumped up to 86. Showed late 11/5 break on 71-73 mph breaking ball.

Tanner Schimmoeller, RHP, Ottawa-Glandorf HS, 2014

6-foot-6, 205-pound imposing right-handed pitcher that adds to Coach Neal’s stable of projectable arms at the University of Cincinnati. Sat at 82 mph and bumped up to 84 on a couple of occasions. Looks like he is throwing harder than the gun reads. Shows good repeatability for his size. Will only get better with improved use of lower half. Good downward action on 69-70 mph breaking ball. Maintains arm speed. Used it as an effective out pitch in game play. Also showed a developing 76 mph changeup.
