A look at the 5 players that landed in Prep Baseball Report 2016 Overall Rankings. These rankings include players from 21 states and Ontario.

No. 103 Evan Lee LHP Bryant HS
Evan Lee is a 6-foot 165-pound LHP, with a projectable frame with a thin build. He has a quick clean arm from an H 3/4 arm slot. He pitches 84-87 mph and will touch 89 mph. mechanically he is sound maintaining balance and rhythm through an effortless delivery. His changeup has fastball arm speed with ASR. The curveball 12/6 action with depth, but is erratic down in the zone. Lee is an above athlete with a projectable arm action and frame. He will throw harder and continue to develop into one of the best pitchers in the state.

No. 159 Luke Bandy MIF/RHP Shiloh Christian HS
Luke Bandy is a 6-0 175-pound athlete with an athletic frame and build. He has the tools to be pitch or hit at the next level He runs a 6.71 in the 60. He has smooth defensive actions with sound footwork. He has an accurate arm that registered 84 across the infield. Offensively he starts from an athletic stance, he attacks the baseball with fast bats speed with raw power with an uphill swing. On the mound he works from an H ¾ arm slot with a fastball of 81-84 mph. He uses a 10/4 curveball with late break. His overall athleticism and aptitude to play multiple positions at a high level makes him very intriguing.

No. 161 Kasey Ford RHP Bentonville HS
Ford is a 6-foot-5 245-pound RHP, with a large frame and an average build. He has a fast short arm action from a ¾ arm slot. He works off his fastball that is 88-91 mph. He throws a slider with spin and a change up with fastball arm speed, but lacks command with either pitch. He is very rotational which hurts his ability to throw a breaking ball with much depth. Ford's arm strength and frame projects for him to get better, if he will lengthen his arm action the gains could be huge for him.

No. 270 Luke Price OF Dover HS
Price is a 6-foot-2 195-pound OF with a large frame and a muscular build. He runs a 6.7 60. He has good instincts in the OF and works through the baseball. He has a fluid exchange with an accurate arm with carry. Offensively Price possesses raw power with fast bat speed and a slight uphill swing path. He maintains balance through extension. Overall he is three sport athlete with raw tools and project-able body.

No. 339 Austin Powell C Star City HS
he 6-foot, 185-pound, with an athletic frame and strong build. Powell throws 1.98, 1.99 and 1.99. His footwork needs some development and would benefit from moving more toward second base, but his strong arm makes up for it now. He is an advanced receiver with quiet, soft hands and a wide stance. He moves well laterally and stays around the ball when he blocks. Offensively he has a short compact swing with fast bat speed. His bat path is slightly uphill. He gets extension through contact. He cannot maintain balance due to diving in over the plate. Powell is a good defensive catcher and projects to get better as he fills out into his frame.
