Over the next week we are going to release the PBR All-Colorado Team one player at a time. The team will consist of 13 players(3 OF, 4 INF, C, 3 Pitchers, UTIL, DH) and a coach. The first two Outfielders chosen for the team were Sophomore OF Wyatt Featherston of Green Mountain, and Junior OF Cole Anderson of Rocky Mountain High School. The last of the three OF is Creighton commit and Senior Outfielder Grant Farrell of Cherry Creek High School. 

GRANT FARRELL: OUTFIELDER, CHERRY CREEK HIGH SCHOOL


There was a lot of talk before the season about Cherry Creek being down with the 2013 class they had graduating. No one seemed to let Farrell know. Farrell had an outstanding season in CF leading the Bruins in BA (.516), Hits (36) RBI's (30), and tied for the team lead in HR with 3 while also patrolling Center Field. These numbers helped lead the Bruins to another Final Four appearance in the programs decorated history. Farrell was another player who played his best when the pressure was the highest during the state playoffs.  During Cherry Creek's Final Four run, the senior showed his leadership by hitting .550 in 20 AB's driving in 5 runs with 3 doubles. We will be following Grant next year as he heads off to Creighton.
