The next three players that will be chosen for the PBR All Colorado Team will be pitchers. The first of the group is Washington State commit, Mountain Vista Senior pitcher Nick Leonard. 

NICK LEONARD: SENIOR, P, MOUNTAIN VISTA HIGH SCHOOL


Nick Leonard was a pretty special story this year. Leonard dominated the 5A ranks this season with very impressive numbers. Throwing three plus pitches and living in the lower 90's all year, some of Leonards best performances were against the best teams at 5A. He had 14 Ks in a win over Dakota Ridge, Had 13 Ks in a complete game win over ThunderRidge, had 10 K's in a playoff win over Grand Junction, and had 12 K's in a complete game playoff win against Chatfield. Leonard was 8-3 on the season and would go on to lead 5A in ERA at 0.88. He had 105 K's in 80 IP only giving up 63 hits while hitters hit a feeble .103 against him on the season. Leonard was also one inning away from leading Mountain Vista to the 5A state title game. The Washington State commit was also drafted 1033rd overall by the Atlanta Braves.
