The last player in the PBR All Colorado Team will be for the position of closer. This spot is awarded to Oregon commit and Senior pitcher of Regis Jesuit HS David Peterson.

DAVID PETERSON: SENIOR, P, REGIS JESUIT.

The PBR staff thought long and hard about the last position given to the First Annual PBR All Colorado team. It was a unanimous decision that it needed to go to Regis Jesuit pitcher David Peterson. Peterson had an unfortunate injury before the season started. He was able to come back as the closer for Regis Jesuit and compile some ridiculous numbers during the regular season, and then he got get a chance to start in the state playoffs when Regis needed him the most.  Peterson would end up throwing 24 innings on the season going 3-0 with a 1.15 ERA. Peterson only gave up 14 hits, and struck out 40 batters. Peterson has been a vital part of the Regis Jesuit rotation for four years,  being part of a state championship team his freshman year, helping Regis make the final four his sophomore year, and gutting out 7 innings against a good Mountain Vista Team his senior year to help the Jesuit's make the state championship game. Peterson was drafted 854th overall by the Red Sox this year.
