PBR Florida Partners with PDQ

We are excited to announce our title sponsorship with PDQ. This partnership will provide unparalleled, full service to the PBR community throughout Florida. Award-winning PDQ - short for "People Dedicated to Quality” - offers chef-driven recipes and mindful ingredients typically found in a fine casual restaurant with the value, speed and convenience of the fast food and fast casual segment. Outback Steakhouse co-founder Bob Basham and MVP Holdings CEO Nick Reader are the two principal owners of PDQ, which is headquartered here in Tampa, Florida. Beloved throughout the Southeast and now beyond for its hand-breaded chicken tenders, PDQ crafts delicious salads, sandwiches, bowls and hand-spun milkshakes fresh in store, every day.

PDQ’s mission statement mentions “We help our communities by donating our time and resources. We share your deep roots. When someone succeeds — whether it’s through sports, academics or helping others — we all do. We exist to recognize, celebrate, and empower People Dedicated to Quality, just like you.”

"Our PDQ team is proud to partner with PBR and work together with their team throughout the state of Florida this season,” said PDQ CEO and Co-Founder Nick Reader. “PBR works tirelessly to promote amateur baseball and make a difference in communities in Florida and beyond. We are excited to work with their team, who are also People Dedicated to Quality."

This will be amplified with the partnership with PBR. PDQ will be sponsoring a Player of the Week. Each week, coaches will have the opportunity to nominate their player and the player of the week will be chosen each Monday and announced with our Power25 updates. Each player of the week will receive 50% off at the local PDQ the entire week and the school will be able to pick a date with their local PDQ as a fundraiser for the program.

PBR and PDQ will also look to support the baseball community in a PDQ Community Member of the Month. Coaches will be able to nominate their players based on academics and off the field contributions to the community.

PDQ will also be providing food at select PBR events, in our effort to continually improve and enhance the player and parent experience. The goal is to provide as much as possible to our baseball community, while highlighting players from across the state and our continuing effort to impact communities, players and parents through baseball.

PDQ will support PBR to continue to provide unparalleled coverage of the state of Florida when it comes to baseball. Whether it is the youth level, high school, junior college or the draft, PBR has the goal to cover and assist players at every level of baseball throughout the state.

PDQ has nearly 40 locations across the state and growing every day. We here at PBR are excited to partner with PDQ to continue to not only grow and add to our event and tournament experience, high school  and junior college coverage, but also join PDQ in the effort to continue to support the community through baseball and great food. Because, what goes much better than some Baseball and chicken tenders.

PDQ will be on site for our Preseason Classic at IMG, February 19-21. Also, to celebrate the new partnership, we are excited to offer this PBR/PDQ, BOGO Discount card, good at any PDQ location.
