Country Day senior pitcher Jeremiah Tyler settled down after the first inning using a solid 2-pitch repertoire.

Foley responded with two runs of their own in the top of the sixth inning. Ryan was hit by pitch to start the inning, Jake Pittman hit a line drive single to left, and 2016 Northern Kentucky commit Griffin Green grounded out to the second baseman advancing the runners.
