Haines has bat speed and is consistent with the barrel. Has some pull side pop with high % of LD contact. Gets to the front side during swing, as reps and strength continue to come, his hit tool could be among the top of the catchers on the west coast along with the catch and throw. Receiving ability is there, soft hands and ability to manipulate the baseball.
