PBR Spotlight Game: Hudsonville Exacts Revenge on Rockford

Baseball once again proves to be a fickel game. After Rockford took care of Hudsonville earlier in the week by the score of 12-2, Hudsonville exacted their revenge.  Hudsonville utilized long balls by Brandon Cable, Tyler Baar, and Hank Vanooyen.

Cable, a 6-foot-1, 195 pound, Western Michigan commit, pounded two home runs, a two run shot followed by a grand slam leading Hudsonville to a 16-6 victory. On the day, Cable had four hits and six RBI.  Blake Hibbits took the mound for the Eagles, but only lasted four innings.

For Rockford, Shain Showers, a Evansville University commit, perhaps was the lone bright spot as he was the only Ram to record more than one hit on the day.
