West Allegheny 10, No. 4 Hopewell 3
After a close 4-1 loss to Blackhawk dropped them into a virtual tie for the section lead, Hopewell (16-3) lost again to West Allegheny to fall a game back of Blackhawk.

Parkland 6,  No. 5 Nazareth 1
Nine Parkland hits and six Nazareth errors led to a 6-1 Parkland victory. Adam Frye outpitched Karl Keglovitz on the mound holding Nazareth (14-4) to four hits. Brandon Evans, Chris Rabasco and Tim Baranek each had two hits for Parkland (13-4).

No. 6 Cedar Crest 4,  Penn Manor 0
Cedar Crest (16-3) stayed hot converting eight hits into four runs, three of which came in the sixth and seventh innings. Penn Manor (9-9) bats were kept silent by Dan Black and Cameron Mathis who combined to give up just one hit on the afternoon.

No. 7 Malvern Prep 8,  No. 13 Penn Charter 2
In an Independent School League game between two teams ranked in the state, Malvern Prep (22-5) got the best of Penn Charter (19-5). MP was led by Joe Poduslenko (2-for-3, three runs) and Matt Greskoff (3-for-4, two runs).

No. 8 Seneca Valley 7, North Allegheny 3
Just added to the state rankings, red hot Seneca Valley (13-3) kept their playoff push going with a big section win against North Allegheny (9-9).

Bethlehem Catholic 4,  No. 11 Liberty 2
Liberty (14-2) scored two runs in the top of the third inning to take the lead, but Bethlehem Catholic
(8-9) came right back with three runs of their own. Jake Carty quieted the Liberty bats and picked up the win on the mound for BC.

No. 12 Salisbury 14,  Notre Dame-Green Pond 3
Salisbury jumped out to a 12-0 lead after just two plate appearances and cruised to the win.  Charles Rogers and Colby Kulig hit home runs for Salisbury (16-1)

No. 15 Hempfield Area 14, Laurel Highlands 4
Hempfield Area moved to 15-4 on the season with a 10-run win over Laurel Highlands.

No. 20 California 16,  West Greene 1
California (16-0) remained on pace to finish the regular season undefeated with a 15 run win over West Greene.

Trinity 5,  No. 21 Shippensburg 1
Trinity (14-3) scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break open a close game and went on to beat Shippensburg (14-4). Robbie Thompson broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fourth inning with a solo home run.
