AJ Hunt, C, R/R, Memphis University School, 2015

Hunt is a 5-foot-9, 180-pound prospect with a strong frame who does a good job of controlling the game behind the plate.  He is an athletic catcher with good lateral movement and blocking skills.  While there is still room for improvement in arm strength, Hunt showcases good footwork and a quick exchange and release.

At the plate, Hunt hits from an open stance with a short stride.  He shows good hand quickness with a slight uphill path that creates some lift.  Currently uncommitted, the rising senior shows the tools and work ethic needed to play at the next level.
