TEXAS - Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing a Player of the Week as well as a list of honorable mentions of some of the top performers from the week before. These are names submitted by High School Coaches. Take a look at some of the stellar performances from around the state of Texas.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Caden Crane, LHP, Pflugerville, 2021
The uncommitted 2021 LHP threw a no-hitter for Pflugerville against Fort Worth Boswell on March 6. Crane struck out 10 batters with 2 walks and no runs allowed.

Logan Freeman, LHP, Bryan, 2020
McLennan Recruit. 2020 LHP threw a no-hitter for Bryan against Fort Worth Boswell on March 5. Freeman struck out 16 batters with two walks and one unearned run allowed. 

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Alec Grossman, RHP, Lake Travis, 2021
North Carolina recruit. The junior right-hander threw a complete against No. 8 ranked The Woodlands on March 6. Grossman struck out 8 batters while allowing 1 run on 3 hits with 5 walks. 

OJ Gonzalez, OF/DH, Lake Travis, 2023
In 7 games, Gonzalez hit was 9-for-19, 3B, 9 RBI and 5 runs scored. His contributions to the lineup helped the Cavaliers go 6-0-1 on the week.

Dylan Reeves, RHP, Brownsboro, 2022
In 2 games this week, Reeves threw 8 innings allowing no runs on 1 hit with 14 strikeouts. His contributions helped lead to two wins this week.

Derek Dominguez, RHP, Snyder, 2023
In 2 games this week, Dominguez threw 12 innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits with 25 strikeouts and 3 walks. His 2nd outing of the week was a no-hitter on March 7 against Littlefield where he had 12 of his 23 strikeouts. 

Calvary Davis, P, Ingleside, 2023
Pitched 5 innings in a 10-0 win over Goliad. Davis was one error away from a perfect game, striking out nine batters.
