AACS 8, Severn 7
Peyton Hudlow
goes 4-for-4 with two RBI and Stever O’Ferral goes 3-for-3 with two RBI to lead AACS.  Jake Rohme adds three hits and Daniel Bierc has two RBI on two hits for Eagles. Kasey Gast gets the win coming in relief for the final five innings and strikes out eight.

Bel Air 16, Edgewood 1 (5 Innings)
Jackson Struve
went 3-for-3 with three RBI, Liam Bowers goes 2-for-3 with four RBI, and JD Bruck goes 2-for-4 ith a homerun and four RBI to lead the Bobcats to the win.  Luke Beyers gets the win striking out five in five innings.

Bohemia Manor 5, Perryville 4
Bryan Bell
goes 2-for-4 with an RBI and David Jackson knocks in two for Bohemia Manor. Justin Frey homers for the Eagles.  Manor holds off comeback effort in the seventh and gets the win despite committing four errors on the day.

Calvert 9, St. Charles 2
Jacob Willis
, Robbie Stone, and Jimmy Hoeferkam each have two hits and two RBI to lead Calvert to the victory.

Chesapeake 11, Glen Burnie 3
Brett Marsh
goes 2-for-3 with three RBI and Andrew Revels goes 2-for-2 with three RBI to lead the Cougars.  Logan Ridgeway adds a 3-for-3 day at the plate. Ridgeway gets the win on the mound going five innings.

Damascus 6, Watkins Mill 1
Eric Lansinger
throws a complete game striking out 13 to lead Damascus to the win.  Hornets score three runs in the fifth inning to pull away for the victory.

DeMatha 3, St. John’s (DC) 2 (Game 1 of best of three)
Chris Jeletic
goes 3-for-4 and Joe Hall has two RBI to lead DeMatha. Jack Alkire gets the win striking out 14 and scattering five hits in the complete game effort on the hill for the Stags.  Game 2 is today at 2pm.

Easton 7, Kent Island 1
Ryan Farr
goes 2-for-3 with two RBI to lead Easton.  Jack Wheatley, Conner Saulsbury and Brennan Cassell each have two hits apiece for the Warriors. Wheatley gets the win going six innings giving up one run and two hits with seven strikeouts.

Gilman 12, Archbishop Curley 6
Maxwell Costes
goes 3-for-4 with four RBI to lead Gilman to victory.  John Fitzgerald and Alex Mardiney each contribute three hits and Jason King has two RBI for the Greyhounds. AJ Korczynski and Andrew Dikes each have two hits and two RBI for Curley.

Hammond 5, Oakland Mills 2
Andy Weaver
goes 3-for-4 with an RBI to lead Hammond.  Sam Wiedorfer has two RBI in a 1-for-4 day at the plate. Ryan Ridgell gets the win giving up five hits and two unearned runs striking out four in a complete game effort. Chris Clyde homers for Oakland Mills.

Johnson 6, Richard Montgomery 0
Noah Meyers
has three RBI in a 1-for-3 effort to lead Johnson to the victory. Meyers, Riley Kemp and Ryan Manning combine for the shutout. Wildcats get four in the second and never look back.

Lansdowne 14, Patterson 5
Luke Tucker
goes 3-for-4 with four RBI to lead Lansdowne.  Joey D’Urso knocks in three for the Vikings.

Leonardtown 9, Annapolis 2
Leonard town gets 17 hits in the victory.  Derek Taitano, Bowen Plagge and Spencer Crispell each have two RBI.

Long Reach 23, City College 1 (5 Innings)
Chris Wessels
and Nick Bailey each have three hits and five RBI to lead long reach to the win.  Tavares Turner goes 2-for-4 with three RBI for the Lightning.

Old Mill 5, North County 0
DJ Biscoe
throws a two-hit shutout striking out six to lead the Patriots to the win.  Jeremy Arocho and Patrick Kiernan each have two hits and David Marrocco knocks in two for Old Mill.  Mike Alfinito goes 2-for-2 for North County.

Patapsco 3, Aberdeen 2
Gavin Jarvis
goes 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Robert Lloyd goes 1-for-3 with two RBI for Patapsco.  Sophomore Sam Smith goes 1-for-4 with two RBI for Aberdeen. Jarvis gets the win on the mound going complete game giving up two runs in the first and shutting down Aberdeen the rest of the way.

South Hagerstown 6, Linganore 5
South Hagerstown gets an insurance run in the top of the seventh and that proves to be the run they need holding on for the one run victory.  Landon Buzzerd goes 2-for-3 with an RBI

Wilde Lake 3, River Hill 0
Michael Palasits
strikes out seven and scatter four hits in the shut out of River Hill. Wyatt Olber, Sergio Irizarry-Cruz and Jared Mouton each have two hits for Wilde Lake.

Williamsport 9, Oakdale 8
Williamsport get two in bottom of eighth to get the win. Austin Golden has two RBI for Wildcats as they get out hit by Oakdale 8-3.

OLBC Championship
Avalon 7, Heights 3
Erik Janss
shuts down heights after surrendering three runs in the first inning to lead Avalon to the OLBC Championship.

Statistical Note

2016 Ryan Brown of St. James now has 102 hits in his career putting him 12 hits away from the Washington County record of 114.  Brown is hitting .456 on the season for St. James.
