We are at the halfway mark of the month of April, and the 2019 high school regular season is winding down. With the playoffs directly over the horizon, the Prep Baseball Report scouting staff has released its latest update to the Power 25 team rankings.

The top five remains the same, as all five clubs went undefeated last week. Barbe HS (30--2) checks in at No. 1, as the Bucs have been dominating for the majority of the season. Sam Houston HS (28-4) checks-in at No. 2, while ED White HS (26-0) is still unbeaten in 2019. Ouachita Christian HS (24-5) and Brother Martin HS (22-5), round out the top five at Nos. 4 and 5 respectively.

Catholic(BR) HS (21-9) continues its ascent up the rankings, as the Bears move up to No. 13 from No. 21 a week ago. While Ruston HS (24-7) enters the top 10 for the first time in 2019.
