Bethany Christian Bruins 

The 2013 season will be a rebuilding year for Coach Brent Reinhardt and the Bethany Christian Bruins. Four starters and three pitchers return from the 2012 team that finished 4-20. The top returning Bruins are seniors Ike Lehman (RHP/SS) and Jesse Loewen (OF). Lehman led the team in hitting with a .366 average and an OBP of .500. Loewen was also productive in the lineup batting .304. 

Caston Comets 

Coach Blake Mollenkopf and the Caston Comets kick off the 2013 season with high expectations after an 8-6 finish in the Midwest Conference and a 20-11 overall record. Six starters return for Coach Mollenkopf, along with three pitchers. 

An experienced group of seniors return to lead the Comets including Caleb Baldwin (1B/P), Chandler DeBarge (IF), Jeremy Gonzalez (OF), Corey Moss (C/P), and Caleb Rowe (IF/P). Also expected to contribute are junior John Martin (OF) and sophomore Jake Kingery (SS/P).
