The Danville Admirals completed their 2012 season with a 31-10 record under head coach Paul Morse, winning the 45^th District Championship and advancing to the 12^th Region championship game before losing to Mercer County.  The Admirals lost a lot from last year’s team that was one win away from representing the 12^th Region at the State Tournament in Lexington, returning only 3 starters and 1 pitcher.

Danville’s offense will be led by senior INF Cole Phillips, sophomore OF/1B Mason Stamm, and sophomore INF Ben Mahan.  Also look for key contributions from senior catcher Will Graham, junior INF Jay Hunn, and junior Nick Serey.

Coach Morse also expects big contributions on the mound from Serey and Mahan, as well.

The Admirals open their season with a March 11^th contest at Knox Central at 5:30 PM.
