No. 1 James Madison at Fairfax
The Warhawks survived for an extra-inning win on Tuesday night against Yorktown and they will travel to take on the Rebels in another Conference 6 matchup. Fairfax has some talent on the mound, which could give an outstanding James Madison lineup a bit of trouble.

Walsingham Academy at No. 3 Greenbrier Christian
Gators continued their winning streak with a tight win on Tuesday against Cape Henry Collegiate. Walsingham has been solid all season and comes into the game having won five of their last six games.

Miller School at No. 4 Liberty Christian Academy
Miller School travels to Liberty Christian in a matchup of two of the top private schools in the middle of the state. Miller has had a good season so far and enters the game 8-4, and have been very tough to beat this year when senior Connor Gillispie (VCU) is on the mound. The Bulldogs enter the game having only lost to opponents during NHSI. They are 5-0 against Virginia opponents, allowing only 2 runs in those games.

Jamestown at No. 6 Grassfield
Grassfield comes into the game off of a win over Oscar Smith. Jamestown also won on Tuesday, defeating York. The two teams meet in a non-conference matchup in Chesapeake this evening. Jamestown used their ace, senior Kent Klyman (NC State) on Tuesday in their win and Grassfield used junior Hunter Perdue (Virginia) in theirs. Look for the Grizzlies to use Garrett Stallings (Tennessee) on the mound, who is lined up and rested.

No. 7 Battlefield at Patriot
This matchup pits the top two teams in Cedar Run Conference 8 against each other in a rivalry game. Look for senior lefty Jake Agnos (East Carolina) to start for the Bobcats and senior righty Austin Gerber (Radford) to start for the Pioneers.

No. 11 Paul VI Catholic at Gonzaga
Paul VI looks to keep pace with O’Connell and St. John’s at the top of the WCAC standings as they head downtown to take on Gonzaga. While the Gonzaga has not consistently scored runs all season, they have pitched very well all year and have given offenses fits, so expect a tight, low-scoring game.

No. 13 Bishop O’Connell at DeMatha
O’Connell is coming off of a loss Tuesday in a first place clash with WCAC rival St. John’s College. The Knights will look to bounce back against the Stags as they continue to move through conference play.

No. 15 Hickory vs. Maury
This game was scheduled for Friday but has been moved up to avoid the potential weather that is coming in tomorrow. The Hawks' explosive offense was at it again on Wednesday night, scoring double digits in a victory over Kempsville.

Annandale at No. 16 West Springfield
West Springfield will host Annandale in the two team’s second matchup of the season. The Atoms came from behind to win the first meeting between the two teams, handing the Spartans their only Conference 6 loss of the season.

Norfolk Academy at No. 18 Nansemond Suffolk
The Saints come into the game 14-1, riding a six game winning streak. During the streak, Nansemond Suffolk has scored 71 runs. The Bulldogs enter the game 9-6 overall, and riding a three game winnings streak after a shootout win Wednesday against Hampton Roads Academy.

Petersburg at No. 25 Prince George
Petersburg enters the game coming off of a win on Wednesday over Armstrong. Prince George is still undefeated on the season and also won on Wednesday, defeating Varina.

Bishop Ireton at No. 25 St. John’s College
St. John’s is coming off of a big win on Tuesday against Bishop O’Connell as they host Ireton in a WCAC matchup.
