PBR:  Where have you decided to attend college and why did you make this choice?
Regnier: I chose to play at Central Michigan because I have always wanted to go there! When collegiate baseball started to become a realistic option, it was a perfect fit.

PBR:  What other schools were you considering?
Regnier: Toledo, Western Michigan, Oakland, and Bowling Green

PBR:  Was distance from home a factor in your decision?
Regnier: No, not really, I just wanted to play at a successful Division 1 school.

PBR:  Where did the coaches first see you?  How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?
Regnier: The coaches first saw me after my sophomore year at a summer showcase camp.  Our relationship developed much more the summer of 2011 once they saw more of my summer team's games.

PBR:  What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Regnier: I hope to contribute in the field as an outfielder as well as on the mound as a relief pitcher.

PBR:  What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that will help your team?
Regnier: I feel my biggest strength as a player is my speed. It helps me to cover ground in the outfield, as well as to bunt and steal bases. As I like to say, speed never goes in slumps!

PBR:  Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most memorable experience from this past summer?
Regnier: I play for the Michigan Bulls (18U) and my most memorable moment is probably winning the ultimate strike zone tournament championship at CMU in extra innings.

PBR:  Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for the team going into your senior season?
Regnier: My goal this year is to be an all state caliber player. As for the team, it would be fun to make it back to high school regional's and to be in the hunt to have another shot like we had my sophomore year at the state finals.
