PBR New York sat down with standout 3B Matt Annunziata for a little Q and A session.

PBR: How did you prepare for the 2014 season?

Annunziata: The way I prepared for the 2014 season was normally I lifted four times a week, ran twice, and hit three times.

PBR: What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?

Annunziata: I consider my strengths to be hard work, determination, never give up attitude along with my power bat, solid arm, and quickness. As for weaknesses I think everyone has some and there's always room to continue to develop and grow in this game.

PBR: Tell us about the recruiting process and what made you pick Hofstra?

Annunziata: The recruiting process was awesome and overwhelming at the same time. I had so many different options to pick from, so many good options. I picked Hofstra because the coaches made me feel right at home and I can also play the game I love in front of my family and friends.

PBR: Who is the top team you have faced this year? Top player?

Annunziata: The top team I faced was Marcucci Elite from Louisiana. Top player would be Liam Sabino, he is a middle infielder.

PBR: Tell us a fun fact about yourself others might not know.

Annunziata: My favorite type of dog is the American Pit Bull Terrier.
