PBR: Why did you choose Sinclair?

Nealeigh: I choose Sinclair because it fits with the money situation but as well with me reaching my goal. Which is to play D1.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Nealeigh: I was considering Cincinnati, as well as Ohio Dominican. Marshall, and interests elsewhere. 

PBR: Sinclair is known for sending many of their players to 4 year colleges.  How much of a role did that play in your decision to go to Sinclair?

Nealeigh: It had the biggest role in choosing Sinclair their abilities to send guys to the draft and D1.

PBR: Where did the Coach Dintaman first see you?

Nealeigh: Coach Dintamen first noticed me at the Bob Ross Classic, I believe, but also though Roger Janeway and others. 

PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable moment.

Nealeigh: I play for Troy post 43 for my 3rd straight year. Having good years all three years. My most honorable moment was going to state in the State Legion finals my going into my junior year.

PBR:  What were you stats this spring at Greenville?

Nealeigh: I ended up hitting around .547 with 17 doubles and, 6 triples, 3 homers, 44 rbi’s and 13 sb.  I also had a season high of 54 hits. 

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process?

Nealeigh: I thought people would notice the stats more, for example my junior year, I hit .620 with 49 hits. I had 3 consecutive good years at Greenville in the GWOC.

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in Ohio?

Nealeigh: Zach Kendal was the toughest this year, but Taylore Cherry was my toughest in my high school career when I was a sophomore.  I went 2-3 with a walk, while losing 6-11.
