Rain shortened Game Roundup for Monday 5/7

Branson RHP Sam Perez threw a no-hitter is a 6-0 win over Gelndale. Perez struck out six batters and allowed only two base runners, one via walk and one reached on an error. Offensivly, Branson was powered by homeruns off the bats of Tyler Whiteis and Parker O'Dell. Whiteis got the scoing with a solo homerun inthe first inninng, and O'Dell add run support to Perez with his two run blast in the third.

No. 1 Liberty 7 Park Hill 0: Nathan Volkmann gave up one hit in four innings, followed by Cole Connor Cole's three innings of three hit shut out ball, both aided by four Liberty double plays, to shut out Park Hill. Lucas Norton and Andy Reith provided all the offense Liberty would need, each going three for three with three RBIs. With the win, Liberty has now won twenty games this season, only the fifth time in school history that has been done.

No. 2 Notre Dame 8 Festus 10: Down 8-1, Festus rallied with nine un-answered runs to come from behind and defeat Notre Dame 10-8. The come back was fueled by, Zack Faulkner, who went two for three with a homerun and five RBIs and Caleb Wilkerson, who had three RBIs on a double and scored twice. Jared AuBuchon went three three and two thirds innings in relief, allowing only one hit.

Ozark 7 Parkview 3: It was the Barnes show, as Zeke and Levi Barnes led Ozark over Parkview. Zeke Barnes went two for three with a double and three RBIs, and also picked uo the win throwing five innings  of two hit, shut out ball. Levi Barnes had a hit and two RBIs.  Colin Fraley went thre for three with an RBI and scored twice.

Waynesville 4 Licking 3: James Holler led the offense with a one for three afternoon, driving in two runs. Jacob Bautista and Romer Flores drove in the other two runs for Waynesville.

Cape Central 9 Hillsboro 2:   Ryan Siebert went three for three with three RBIs and Kyle Thompson and Vince Toole each scored two runs to pace the Cape Central offense past Hillsboro.

Cabool  9 Plato 8:  Drew Pearson went two for two with a single, double, two RBIs and two runs scored to pace the Cabool offense. Marcus Rader picked up the win for Cabool, and also had two hits.
