Recruiting News Around Kentucky

With signing day quickly approaching, more players from the class of 2013 have selected where to continue their education and baseball careers.  We take a look at the most recent commitments.

Austin Perry, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound projectable RHP from Collins HS, has committed to Kentucky.  Perry, who recently competed with Marucci Elite at the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, Florida, is an intriguing prospect on the mound with a mid 80's fastball and plenty of room to add to his frame.

Hunter Johnson, a 6-foot-3, 230-pound RHP/1B from Pleasure Ridge Park HS, has committed to  Murray State.  Johnson's high 80's fastball and power bat will afford him the opportunity to be an impact player for the Racers both on the mound and at the plate.

Sam Lee, a quick, athletic, 5-foot-9, 170-pound outfielder from Montgomery County HS, has committed to Evansville.  Lee has plenty of big game experience playing with elite summer programs such as Midland and the Huntington Hounds.

Sean Pedley, a 5-foot-8, 150-pound middle-infielder from Daviess County HS, has committed to Southern Indiana.  Pedley will take his Louisville Baseball Club experience with him with the intent on working hard to earn opportunities on the field early in his career.
