CBC third baseman Jake Burger has committed to Missouri State to continue his baseball career. Ranked No. 17 in the Class of 2014, the 6-foot-1, 190-pound Burger hit .437 with nine doubles, five triples, and 31 RBIs last season as a junior 

SIUE RHP/INF Ryan Fritz and OF Kyle Stevens from Timberland have both committed to Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. 

Fritz hit .311 with five doubles, one homerun and 19 RBIs. On the mound, Fritz posted a 3-2 record in 41 innings pitched with a 2.73 ERA and 39 strikeouts. 

Stevens hit .368 with 19 doubles, three triples, and 11 RBIs last season.
