Elliott Prott, 3B/RHP, Highland HS, 2018
McKendree College

2.27.18 - Verbally committed to play football and baseball at McKendree University. 

6.27.17 - 5-foot-11, 200-pound, strong, right-handed two-way prospect. Offensively, balanced setup, short stride, maintains balance through swing. Pull hitter, long, uphill barrel path, fluid rhythm, 85 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 7.52 laser-timed 60. Defensively, long arm action, high ¾ arm slot, accurate on some, 78 mph across the infield. On the mound, short arm action, mostly works from high ¾ slot, drops to side-arm occasionally for fastball. Tall and fall delivery, works on-line, finishes athletically. Fastball, run action, 77-79 from high ¾ slot, 73-75 from side-arm. Curveball, 11/5 shape, 67-69 mph. Changeup, near fastball arm speed, fade action, 72-76 mph.

10.8.17 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. Drop and drive delivery, works across his body, open toe delivery, keeps shoulders closed, some deception. Fastball is mostly straight, flashed arm side run, sat 80-82 mph, touched 84 mph. Curveball works on 11/5 plane, slurve type flashing sharp action. 71-73 mph. Has feel for changeup, fading action, near fastball arm speed, 73-75 mph.  

Cameron Conway, RHP, Joliet West HS, 2018
Elmhurst College

8.8.17 - 6-foot-3, 155-pound lanky right-handed pitcher. Works from a ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Tall and fall delivery with easy effort. Fastball has running action at 77-79 mph. Curveball has 11-5 shape with gradual action at 64-65 mph. Changeup sat 67-69 mph.

Kyle Winkle, RHP, Joliet Catholic HS, 2018
Elmhurst College

10.8.17 - 5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitting RHP/SS. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Tall and fall delivery, regular effort. Square landing, works in line with home plate. Fastball was straight at 78-81 mph for strikes. Curveball has 11-5 shape at 62-65 mph. Slider sat 67-68 mph. Throws changeup from a lower slot, worked 73-75 mph with fading action. Offensively balanced, slightly open setup. Short stride with average balance. 81 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.79. Defensively long arm action. Threw 76 mph across the infield.

Concordia (WI)

1.21.18 - 5-foot-8, 165-pound, two-way prospect. Defensively, long arm action, arm slot varies between ¾ and side, soft hands at times, quick on exchanges, 74 mph across the infield. Offensively, open setup, leg kick timing trigger, long, uphill barrel path, 83 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.92 60. On the mound, long, loose arm action, sidearm slot, quick arm speed, smooth rhythm, closed landing, falls off the mound to finish. Fastball, heavy sink action, commanded, 71-74 mph. Slider, 10/4 shape, showed feel for, 63-66. Changeup, fastball arm speed, fade action, 65-67.

Jacob Williams, RHP/1B, Rockridge HS, 2018
Sauk Valley JC

9/24/16 - 6-foot-2, 161-pound, lean, projectable frame, two-way prospect. Offensively, slightly closed setup, hands load pre-pitch, pull approach at the plate with minimal use of lower half. Registered an exit velocity of 73 mph. Defensively, at first base, steady hands, some effort in throws, long arm action and a ¾ slot; clocked at 78 mph across the diamond. On the mound, repeats delivery, stays on-line, lands square and finishes upright. Arm works long and out of a ¾ slot. Fastball works mainly flat, slight arm-side-run, thrown for strikes and sat 76-77 mph. Slider looks to be best pitch; works 10/4 with good spin and depth, 66-69 mph. Changeup, thrown with near fastball arm speed, feel for the zone, run-fade-sinking action and sat 71-73 mph. 7.75 runner in the 60.
