Eddie Tisdale
Scouting Director - South Carolina

1. AC Flora (3-1)
Last Week - 2

- The Falcons finished second in the IP Classic losing the championship game to Boiling Springs, 6-3. Flora was washed out from their home opener against Crestwood but will get back into action with games against Crestwood,  North Augusta, Lakewood, and T.L. Hanna this week. Freshmen, South Carolina recruit Jack Reynolds and Citadel recruit Phillips Daniels are powering the offense early on.

2. South Aiken (6-1-1)
Last Week - 4

- South Aiken raced out to a 6-0-1 start before dropping a Saturday contest to Spartanburg. AJ Deibel has been hot to start off the year and the Thoroughbreds will look to build on their recent success witha big showdown coming up against Brookland-Cayce this week.

3. Beaufort (6-0)
Last Week - 6

- The Eagles are off to a hot start defeating Norfolk Academy twice last week coming off of a four win effort in their tournament to kick off the year. Reed Reichel is off to a great start and will look to keep this potent Beaufort offense firing on all cylinders.

4. Greenville (3-1)
Last Week - 5

- Riding a Rocco Reid (Clemson recruit) no hitter, the Red Raiders took two from Seneca last week. Army recruit Braden Golinski and uncommitted 2021 Tyler Lipscomb are rolling early on and will look to keep the momentum going into the heart of the season.

5. North Myrtle Beach (3-1)
Last Week - 3

- The Chiefs have scored 40 runs in their 4 games this season and will look to continue the offensive onslaught this week against Myrtle Beach, Loris, and Marlboro County. Mount Olive recruit Dalton Simpson has been the hot hand for the NMB thus far.

6. Eastside (2-2)
Last Week - 8

- This week will be a huge challenge for the Eagles with four games on the schedule. Splitting a DH with JL Mann in two tightly contested games should give this team some confidence, the pieces are in place to have a great 2019 campaign if they can just put it all together.

7. Blue Ridge (5-1)
Last Week - NR

- The Tigers were impressive putting up run totals of 13, 12, and 19 during a three game stretch. They get Berea twice this week and if uncommitted 2021 David Lewis can keep swinging a hot bat this team could continue to draw high praise.

8. Belton Honea Path (2-3)
Last Week - 7

- BHP lost all three of their games in the NaturChem tournament but rebounded with two good wins last week over Clinton and Abbeville. Citadel recruit Tyliss Roper has turned in two quality starts and uncommitted 2021 Talmadge LeCroy picked up 4 hits in their last two games.

9. Wren (2-2-1)
Last Week - 1

- Wren has been streaky to start their 2019 campaign. The youthful Hurricanes team allowed 11 runs to Dutch Fork and 10 runs to Powdersville but also only allowed 1 run to Airport and also threw a shutout in their second game with Powdersville. Clemson recruit Ryan Ammons punched out 10 in 6 innings of work last week.

10. York (3-2)
Last Week - 10

- The Cougars got off to a hot start with a quality win over Blacksburg and a blowout victory over York Prep. They slipped last week against Clover and Rock Hill. Clemson recruit Nick Clayton has been as advertised through 2 starts, punching out 17 hitters.

NEXT FIVE: Midland Valley, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Airport, South Pointe
