SCHSL 4A Rankings - Week 2

1. AC Flora (8-1)
Last Week - 1

- Flora continues to roll on. 5-0 last week with two wins over Crestwood and wins over North Augusta, Lakewood, and a big time win over 5A power TL Hanna. Baker Cox and Tyler Kennedy are throwing well for the Falcons and looking to lead them into another big week with Lakewood, Lexington, O.W., and Hammond on the schedule. 

2. South Aiken (8-2-1)
Last Week - 2

- S.A. took down a talented Brookland Cayce team twice last week to reach the 8 win mark. They will take on North Augusta this week in a huge region matchup. South Carolina recruit Sam Swygert punched out 10 in 7IP last week.

3. Beaufort (8-0)
Last Week - 3

- The Eagles picked up two more wins last week, defeating Wade Hampton and Thomas Heyward Academy. Arguably the biggest test of the season will come this week when they square off with Hilton Head in a 3 game set starting Monday night. 

4. Greenville (5-1)
Last Week - 4

- The Red Raiders have now won 4 in row. Rocco Reid turned in his second quality start in as many attempts. This week is a huge week for Greenville as they square off against a red hot Blue Ridge team.

5. Blue Ridge (8-1) 

Last Week - 7

- Blue Ridge downed Berea twice last week and topped Broome on a walk off to move to 8-1 on the season. David Lewis is playing at another level right now and capped a 7 hit week with a 3 for 4 performance with 2 home runs in a win over Broome.

6. North Myrtle Beach (6-2) 
Last Week - 5

- NMB finished the week with a 3-1 record. Billy Barlow turned in a quality effort in a win over Myrtle Beach last week and will look to continue his strong start this week with Wilson, Aynor, Loris, and Darlington on deck. 

7. Belton Honea Path (5-3)
Last Week - 7

- BHP took two from Walhalla last week and then a single game win over Crescent in a non-region matchup. They picked up 17 hits in their two region wins last week and will look to build on that trend that has seen them win their last 3 games.

8. Hilton Head (7-2)
Last Week - NR

- The Seahawks move into this weeks rankings after posting a 1-1 record last week and holding a 7-2 record overall. HH pounded out 12 hits and 8 walks in route to a 21-0 win on Thursday. There is a huge test looming with a three game set with Beaufort this week. 

9. Wren (4-2-1) 
Last Week - 

- The Hurricanes got two good starts from Carter Willis and Ryan Ammons in route to two wins last week. The front men for  the Wren pitching rotation will square off with Daniel this week trying to keep pace with Belton Honea Path in Region 1-4A.

10. Eastside (4-3) 
Last Week - 8

- The Eagles split two games with Travelers Rest last week and find themselves in the midst of another tough stretch this week. They have Berea twice, Easley, and Wren during a four game week.
