TEAM STRENGTHS
Rockville was a very young team last season.  Their starting line-up in every game of the 2014 season included between five and seven sophomores, which leads to some growing pains with such a youthful program.  The hope is that experience and being a year older will pay off for the program and help them take a step forward for this upcoming season.

QUESTION MARK
With being such a young team last season, it led to many mistakes out in the field. Rockville had an inability to play consistently both mentally and physically.  The hope is that the team will make a leap forward in their maturity and limit those mistakes that cost them from a year ago. This preseason has been very focused and driven towards that goal.  With a pitching staff that is deep but lacking a power arm, team defense will be extremely important and limiting free bases to opposing teams.

WILDCARD
P/OF Mickey Van Gieson could be one of the players that takes his game to a higher level this season for the Rams.  Look for the 2016 to use this season to make a name for himself and begin to get on some college radars.

OVERALL
The Rams expect to have an improved 2015 season. With a year under their belt the team could take a step forward and challenge in the 3A West.  They will be an interesting team to follow, as it is always fun to watch how a young team matures from the previous year. Look for Rockville to take a step forward in 2015.
