PBR: What are your expectations for your team this spring?

Coach Strube: We return a lot of experienced players.  We expect to compete for the Conference and State championship.

PBR: Who is going to be your key contributors on the mound this spring?

Coach Strube: Dylan Thompson (2016) was our top guy last year as a sophomore, so we're expecting him to do well for us again this year.  We are also expecting major contributions from Harper Vondran (2015), Austin Chumley (2015), Ben Bryles (2016), Cade Mills (2016), and Noah Fowler (2017).

PBR: For your offense to be effective who do you expect to set the table? Who do you expect to drive in runs?

Coach Strube: Our table setters will be Zach Sokora (2015), Joe Myers (2016), and Cameron Tissue (2017).  We will look to Harper Vondran (2015), William Hancock (2015), Kirk Hutchins (2015), Zach Walker (2016), and Dylan Thompson (2016) to drive them in.

PBR: Which Underclassmen do you need to step up and fill a void by last year’s seniors?

Coach Strube: We only lost 2 starters from last year's team.  Cameron Tissue will take over at 2B.  Will Dickinson (2015) and Jonathan Nichols (2016) will compete for the job at 3B.

PBR: Who is the team to beat in your conference/ your classification?

Coach Strube: Our conference is loaded.  We have the defending 7A champion (Bryant) and the defending 6A champion (Russellville), Conway will also be very good.  There are no days off in our conference.

PBR: What is your biggest non-conference game and why?

Coach Strube: We will play Fayetteville March 14 at Conway HS, this will give us a good test heading into conference play.  Also, we will play Central May 11 at UALR.

PBR: What tournaments is your team attending this spring?

Coach Strube: Benton Panther Invitational, March 2-7. We will host the Central Arkansas Invitational March 26-28.
