PBR Arkansas jumps into High School coverage. All information was obtained through the High school coaching staffs. We look forward to covering Arkansas on the road to the state tournament!

2017 Record: 21-6, District tournament
Conference: 4A-8
Coaches comments:
"The Lions graduated 9 seniors in 2017 but return a good nucleus of players from the 8-4A district
tournament championship squad.
Brothers Steven and Travis Huff return on the mound. Steven lead the lions in innings pitched with 53 innings garnering a 6-3 record while recording 43 K's and 19 BB with a 3.67 ERA.
Travis came on late in the season to record 37 IP with a 3-1 record while holding opponents to a .119 BA. Hamburg will also look to Senior RHP Brady Pippen to contribute heavily on the
mound this season as well as Jr. RHP Braden Berry.
Behind the plate the lions look to replace 4 year starter Emmitt Jeffers. Sr. Travis Huff and soph. Connor Jones are the leading candidates for the catching job.
The Lions return two of three starting outfielders from a year ago in Nigel Lewis 6.6 in the 60 and Shannon Brennon 6.6/60 who started a combined 35 games in 2017."
