TEAM STRENGTHS
Severn will focus around pitching and defense.  Their pitching staff will be led by Jack Elstner leading the way.  The coaching staff loves his bull dog mentality on the mound.  Ryan Jack is a freshmen that is a strike thrower and will be looked to play a pretty big role for the Admirals pitching staff as a freshmen.
The defense is led by catcher Ricky Treanor.  The junior has slowed down running games after throwing out close to 30 base runners in his two years behind the dish.

QUESTION MARK
Severn???s biggest question mark is their age.  They are a very young team with no seniors on the roster.  Treanor and Elstner are going to be looked upon to be team leaders since they have the most experience in the program.

WILDCARD
OF Tyrek Thornton is a player that the coaching staff at Severn are excited about coming into the 2015 season. The outfielder looks to have a breakout 2015 campaign for the Admirals

OVERALL
Severn has another year of high expectations for the program and that reflects head coach Hal Sparks. In his six years with the program, Severn has made the playoff all six years. Having that success with a school that typically only graduates 50 each year is a testament to what coach Sparks has done with the program. Look for the team to meet those expectations again.
