2023 ROSTER - Team 1

Corbyn Aills SS / 2B / Davis, WA / 2024

From 2/13/23: "Aills took some big strides since his previous workout. After running a brisk 6.71 in the 60, the twitchy INF showed crisp actions on defense with an arm up to 81 mph across the diamond. Offensively uses a balanced approach with an early stride into a toe-tap move. Hands stayed inside of the ball with a compact swing & middle of the field approach."

(7/11/23)

Nate Merritt 1B / LHP / Prairie, WA / 2024

From 2/7/23: "Some of the best LH pop we’ve seen in the class. At 6’4, 218, Merritt topped at 96.9 with his EV & averaged 87.2 across his rounds. High grades on the bat speed and rotational numbers make him an exciting power prospect from the left-side. Also has 2-way potential as an arm with a 3 pitch mix. Arm strength plays well at 1B with one of the top velos we saw on Sunday."

(2/5/23)

TEAM 2

Jude Kromer C / 3B / Glacier Peak, WA / 2024

From 8/18/23:  "Lean, wiry frame at 5’8, 170. Presents a compact target behind the dish. Quickness out of the crouch with a fast exchange into lower release slot. Best pop time 1.99 on this look. Offensively there’s loft in the swing with an uphill path into contact. Hands stay tight and work inside of the baseball. Uncommitted."

 (8/15/23)

Johnny Macall 3B / SS / West Valley, WA / 2024

From 2/13/23: "Strong bodied INF prospect at 6’0, 185 lbs.  Macall put together a well rounded performance highlighted by his advanced feel for hitting in the box and ability to control the barrel. Uses a more closed off stance at the plate, allowing his alignment to stay inside of the ball and work through the middle of the field. Contact type approach with easy bat speed & strong hands at point of contact. Polished hitter."

 (2/11/23)

TEAM 3

Henry Douglas OF / LHP / Tri-Cities Prep, WA / 2024

From 6/30/23: "Put together a balanced workout as a 2-way prospect with his ability to play OF as well as throw on the mound. L/L skill-set is always a desirable trait and Douglas fits that profile. Solid actions on defense with an easy transition into his throws. Offensively it’s a balanced, simple approach with limited moving parts. Allows the barrel to work easily and covers plenty of depth in the zone. Flashed 3 pitch mix on the mound with FB/CB/CH arsenal"

(6/28/23)

Cal Zimmerman OF / SS / Bellevue, WA / 2024

Zimmerman is a lean and projectable 6-foot-2, 180-pounds with ample room to add on mass. One of the top-ranked uncommitted outfielders in the state's senior class, Zimmerman has an intriguing toolset. He is a sub-6.7 runner in the 60-yard dash, has an arm that is mid-to-upper 80s from the outfield, and has posted low-90s exit velocities in the past.

 (7/11/23)

TEAM 4

Atticus Manning RHP / 1B / Kamiak, WA / 2024

From 1/30/23: "Manning recorded the top velo at the workout, reaching 86.4 mph with his peak FB. At 6’3, 210, he has a strong, durable frame with room for development. FB sat 84-85 with easy effort and it's very likely we see more velo out of him this spring. SL has late, tight shape and stood out as his best secondary. Also mixed in CB/CH to repertoire."

 (1/28/23)

Ryan Tobler OF / 2B / Skyline, WA / 2024

From 2/7/23: "Tobler put together one of the best combinations of speed and power at the workout. Running in the 6.90 range for the 60 and then finishing towards the top of EV during BP. From the left-side, gets creates easy rotational power and gets his barrel to the ball. Defensively he’s made a jump in the pure arm strength and continues to move well laterally with his athleticism"
