Shenendehowa's Bryan Warzek Shines in Semi Game Over Ketcham

Dan Cevette
New York Scouting Director

No. 1 Shenendehowa rolled Ketcham less than 30 minutes ago in the greater Binghamton area at beautiful Maine Endwell HS. Shenendehowa is stacked in the batting order with Studs like Kyle McAlonie, Wake Forest commit Justin Yurchak and Brennan McCormack to name a few. But it never hurts having a go to LHP to give the ball to.

Bryan Warzek was masterful today punching out 14 Ketcham batters, who In fact are one of the best 1-9 batting orders in NYS HS baseball. He allowed only three hits and Ketcham never really had anything going. The only sour part of the outing would be Warzek's five walks he issued, he rushes a touch with his delivery and the more he throws the better this kid will get.

He has been invited to the PBRNY Top Prospect Games Aug 16th and without a question he is a next level talent. In talks with Warzek he appears to be very coach-able and a hard working competitive kid. We are excited for his progress over this summer and hopefully seeing him Aug 16th at St. Bonaventure University.

Buzz On Warzek
Works fast with a quick arm, fastball ranges 83-86 mph but with some work there's more in the tank no question. Shows a nice mix of off speed, needs to me more consistent and develop a slower tempo. Very promising 2015 LHP in NY.
