PBR Michigan is here to provide top notch coverage and exposure to players during the high school and summer season. The state of Michigan is full of uncommitted talent, below we will breakdown the state into four regions. West, Central, Southeast and Metro Detroit. Each list will consist of nine uncommitted ball player in the 2020-2022 class to keep an eye on this season.

Catcher

Gannon Andrews C / 2B / Portage Northern, MI / 2020

Report: 5-foot-9, 140 pound high level defensive catcher. Has quick feet and shifty hips. More like a middle infielder behind the dish. 1.92-2.00 pop time. Top of the order hitter that sprays liners. 86 mph exit velocity.

Infielders

Trammell Lindstrom 3B / RHP / Portage Central, MI / 2020

Report: 6-foot-2, 208 pound well developed prospect has a mature demeanor and skill. Clean fielding skills at 3B while throwing 91 mph across the infield. Strike thrower on the mound with more velocity in the tank. 91 mph exit velocity.

Keegan Batka RHP / SS / Grand Rapids Christian, MI / 2020

Report: 6-foot-2, 190 pound prospect is one of the most versatile players in the state. Has the ability to get on the mound and run 89 mph fastball to the plate. Plays in the middle infield on defense with a solid glove throwing 90 mph across the diamond. At the plate is a gap to gap guy with pop. 96 mph exit velocity.

Stephen Kwapis 3B / RHP / Hackett Catholic Prep, MI / 2021

Report: 6-foot-1, 220 pound corner infielder can swing the bat. Led his team in home runs as a freshman and looks to improve upon his freshman success during his sophomore campaign. Light on his feet ran a 7.18 60 and posted a 94 mph exit velocity.

JT Sokolove SS / 2B / Hudsonville, MI / 2021

Report: 5-foot-9, 160 pound plus defender plays SS with an advanced glove. Above average range and a vacuum mitt makes him stand out. 86 mph across the infield while running a 6.91.

Outfielders

Korbin Griffin LHP / OF / Gull Lake, MI / 2021

Report: 6-foot-3, 195 pound natural lefty has an impressive frame that will continue to fill out. At the plate shows some lift in his swing with fast hands. 89 mph OF velocity, 91 mph exit velocity and has been up to 83 mph off the mound.

Xander Morris RHP / OF / Portage Northern , MI / 2021

Report: 6-foot, 170 pound two way prospect made Future Games as a freshman. Has an opportunity to perform at the next level both on the mound or the OF. 6.90 runner who has an 91 mph exit velocity, also has been up to 84 mph off the mound.

Zach MacDonald OF / RHP / Portage Central , MI / 2021

Report: 6-foot, 165 pound athletic OF has quick twitch and good foot speed. Takes proper routes in the field patrolling center field well. Handles the bat with a gap to gap approach delivering line drives.

Pitcher

Luke Scoles RHP / OF / Gull Lake, MI / 2020

Report: 6-foot-4, 199 pound RHP pitching prospect summed up in one word is a pitcher. Scoles wins baseball games with his ability to pitch. Understands how to keep hitters off balance, while showing above average command. Fastball has been up to 85 mph along with his curve and change up. Good bloodlines, his older brother plays at Toledo.
