Today's player spotlight is on Ryan Hanson, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound RHP 
from Morgan County HS.  Hanson has a projectable frame and is ranked No.16 in the Kentucky class of 2014. 

Hanson throws from a 3/4 arm slot and shows a fastball with occasional sink that sits 82-84 mph.  His curveball shows tight spin and good 11/5 tilt and sits at 68-72 mph.  He also has good confidence in his 70-72 mph change up that he throws with good arm action. 

Hanson is coming off a solid sophomore season which saw him post a 2.21 ERA and register 64 strikeouts in 57 IP.  Look for Hanson to lead Coach Easterling's Morgan County pitching staff this spring as the Cougars look to improve upon last season's 12-14 campaign.
